"The rooms were clean staff was really helpful but in no way was the food worth the price. A 5 star hotel with 86 dollar (CAD) per person buffet and the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. On top of that the rest of the buffet line items were not up to expectations for a resort - tasted bland and lacked flavor. We also went to the tea room where although the setting, view and service were great, we were served sandwiches with something similar to fake American cheese or Kraft single...

"At check-in, there was a foreign staff member whose accent was very difficult to understand, although he was speaking Japanese. The room was clean, and the staff were lovely. "This property is extremely well managed. The hotel itself is rather dated and during our stay the outdoor onsen was not accessible.
However, the staff (from management to server) do their utmost to accomodate their guests. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the service to the fullest."
