Wonderful

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, which is always my top priority. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. I will definitely stay here again!
The staff was so nice and also helped us to keep my pre-posted parcel before we arrived. Just their parking is not 24 hours, so we end up parked somewhere else.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Many options for food and drinks. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with amazing views. A little out of the way but the city buses pick up there. Would stay here again.
Yes. The ocean was visible a little bit far from the room.
The spa was fine and good for relaxing even if it was tidy and far from the room.( over 10 mins)

This is a relic of Japan’s best days…..a throwback to the 80s/90s when Japan ruled the world. Structure was over the top huge but when I looked at it, it made me think how Japan is all has fallen so far. And in that way, it made me feel so sorrowful because I love Japan.
But it was in need of updating. The spaces felt liminal and brought back vague memories of what things used to be. Like visiting aunt Gertrude’s house in Yorba Linda… OK
The shower pressure was a symbol of greatness. When the water hit, I thought of the Japanese bosses saying to the builders to “spare no expense” on making that world class.
However, the shower door, the floor and everything else in the bathroom was straight out of the 80s. When the water hit the shower door and left behind a massive puddle and that’s not high class at all.
The food in the cafeteria was excellent. This wasn’t any foreigners that I could see and they even had an onigiri station I have no complaints at all about their cafeteria. It’s so legit in the view from the area with the buildings around it look great, I cannot complain.

The room is clean and staff is attentive. The food is good! However be mindful that the location is extremely inconvenient and requires a car / taxi to any part of Miyazaki. This is not the hotel’s fault but Miyazaki public transportation is significantly worse than most other mid-sized Japanese cities. So be careful on that!
It was my first time visiting Miyazaki, and I stayed at Phoenix Seagaia Hotel for two nights with my friend.
Before the trip, my friend told me, “Miyazaki has a high sky, a vast ocean, and the view from high places is absolutely breathtaking.” That’s why I decided to treat myself a little and book a Deluxe room.
To my surprise, the hotel kindly prepared a room for us on the top floor—the 35th floor. The moment we stepped into the room, we were amazed. It was beautifully cleaned, and the layout was very comfortable and well-designed.
When I looked out the window, I was honestly a little scared because of how high it was—but at the same time, it felt like I was being drawn into the view. The scenery was absolutely stunning and unforgettable.
The staff were incredibly professional and truly made my trip to Miyazaki special. To be honest, we originally planned to stay at the hotel for just one night. However, after seeing the room and experiencing the wonderful hospitality, we decided we didn’t want to leave and asked to extend our stay for another night.
I would definitely love to come back again—next time, with my family.
We liked the nature around , ocean and onsens at the Hotel ..

The property is a bit dated but common areas are nice. Just changed management in 2025 so I’d expect some details such as chipped paint and stained grout will be addressed. Elevators are really fast and with 8 of them waits were short. The private onsens were great!
Many restaurants but no space to eat
Had to go outside the resort to get a meal
Room was ample for Japanese standard and well maintained
Views from room amazing
Lot of kids dining around and since it’s a large property of 737 rooms is very crowded
Breakfast on the 42nd floor is excellent with a nice view. The hotel is massive. It is a little dared but overall it maintained well. The onsen is old but looks like they are building a brand new one and will be ready by the fall. I like this hotel a lot, will definitely return if I am going to miyazaki again
