Staff extremely polite and makes an effort to communicate in English using translation app. Enjoyed the pools, slide and the onsen. Breakfast buffet highly recommended when staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed the variety. Loved the butler service and the valet parking was very good! Although it is a beach front hotel, we never got a chance to swim in mid May due to low tide. There is a very small area that is roped off for guests to swim. Very disappointed that we never got to swim at the beach. We only enjoyed the view from the room.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. They have a car rental in the hotel and it was more easy to get around. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport which requires reservation and the bus driver is a G !! For driving such tiny streets… tattoos are not welcomed by the way. Breakfast buffet was so good!

The property is very nice and clean and the staff is exceptional but it's not a 5 star hotel. The pools and beach swim area close around 5 and the restaurants are exceptionally expensive even for a resort. The most beautiful beach is in front of this hotel and you are allowed to swim in 10% of it. The rest of the beach is dedicated to jet ski traffic. This is insane. Also don't expect drink or food service by the pool. This doesn't exist here.

Fantastic stay if you have ZERO tattoos. A simple flower tattoo on your leg will get you thrown out of the pool and they will tell you not to go on the beach as well. Usually hotels provide bandaid like covers - like Disney Tokyo. While the hotel is lovely to look at it makes it hard to enjoy when you don’t have the appropriate cover for your ankle tattoo. You can walk around in as skimpy of a swimsuit as you want in the lobby but a tattoo will be the end all? Food was over priced for what it was. The steakhouse is $250 USD a person. Staff was very friendly minus enforcing hotel rules that are potentially outdated - even for Japan. The hotel did not confirm our hotels.com email requesting a tour and booked it without confirming then cancelled. Would have been helpful if they responded in the email/app. Your potential hotels.com credit will only work in the restaurants,not room. Gorgeous views from the superior room! Live music every night in a few places - sax and piano. The cafe had a cute tea and reasonably priced pina coladas. Red wine selection is limited. Potential typhoon cancelled most water sports outside of the pool so keep that in mind if one is expected during your stay. Great AC in rooms. Mini fridge is stocked with beer, water and some snacks. Buffet breakfast was large and had a great selection of local and universal breakfast items. Kid friendly food selections. Quiet enough for couples. If you are between this one and Monterey - just go with Monterey.

We had an incredible stay at Busena Terrace and would certainly come stay again and recommend to anyone. We are a family of 4 with two teenagers so we booked two sea view rooms. The rooms had amazing views and a small terrace. Large size rooms with a generous size bathroom. Nice sprawling facilities with two great outdoor pools and an indoor pool as well as a beach area with beach nets to keep out jellyfish. Location of the property was great for island exploring which allowed us to get to the Aquarium and to several important historical and military sites as well as Naha. Also, the hotel had good food options on site (on the pricier side) and had good food options nearby with a 5-10 minute cab ride or 25 minute walk away (with easy/safe sidewalks). The highlight was a super helpful staff with special mention to Ohashi. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a really pleasant stay; this included finding and helping us make reservations for dinner each night as well as arranging a driver one day to see a bunch of sites, as well as booking two different snorkeling tours (one to Minna island and one closer to the hotel). We and the kids loved the Minna island trip so much that we immediately booked a skin diving trip for our second to last day! While the staff had limited understanding of English, we made good use of translation devices to communicate and they were more than patient and accommodating! Highly recommend!

We had an INCREDIBLE stay at this hotel! Highly recommend it as it was a true highlight during our 2 week stay in Japan. The view and premises are absolutely breathtaking and the staff really bends over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. We found the breakfast buffet really good with lots of options. This resort also has many good restaurants on premise with a Chinese and seafood restaurant that we really enjoyed. Some reviews have commented on staff not speaking English but we did not find this to be a problem as many staff knew basic English plus everyone had translation devices to make it seamless. We were also there when a typhoon was approaching and can’t overstate how accommodating the staff were to make sure everyone was safe and very flexible in helping guests arrange earlier departures. Highly rate this resort - 11 out of 10 stars!!

Didn’t want to leave. Place has space. Beach and pool are great. Everything just works. Staff are sharp, polite and efficient. A highlight is the food which is absolutely incredible. If you're not a fussy eater you can close your eyes and grab everything at the breakfast and evening buffet and not be disappointed. From local Okinawa food to more international. It’s a “wow” hotel.

There was a typoon in Okinawa. I started staying at that day the typoon came. Most of facilities were impossible to use, but there is no refund for that. It is disappointing
