Fantastic, even in summer

Fantastic hotel. Great rooms and good pool. No breakfast, just a cafe but thats fine if you have a kitchen in the room.

Nice stop over place in the summer.

Lovely little town we stayed in on the way back to Oslo from Bergen. There are some nice lake-side walks out the back of the hotel complete with English translated info plaques. We didn't get a chance to check out the bakery, which seemed like a highlight. The food in the restaurant was good, but not the best we had on the trip by any means. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Note that the 2 twin bed option still as the twin beds attached and sharing a single mattress. So if you truly need separate twin beds... you may need to get a little pushy.

No reception, difficult to get service or help. The light in our bathroom wasn’t working so we had to leave the door open or shower in the dark, not ideal. The pizza restaurant was good though.

I hve two kids with me during the stay so it was good at they have a pool where they can have fun. The place is in the center ans very near to the shopping center and restaurant. They have a starbucks inside the hotel and a bakery which serve fresh baked bread every morning. The room was comfortable and clean.. They have a mini kitchen where you can make your own food. Veldig koselig og bra. We will be back for sure

It was off season so there was no one on site. Checkin is all digital and worked seamlessly. Had a bit of trouble finding the room and was only stairs down to the lower rooms. Rubbish bin had not been emptied from prior guest. Studio was very comfortable and had everything you could need.

Stayed here for one night. Rooms feel a bit tired. First room we were assigned had no chairs or anywhere to sit other than the bed but 3 wardrobes in the hallway area which seamed a little odd. Curtains were also not hung properly and turns out they did not cover the whole window which is not great in summer. The staff at the bar were really helpful and moved us to a new room. The fabric headboard in the new room was stained quite badly but I didn’t want to bother the bar staff so just moved the bed away from it. The bar area etc looks quite luxe but the two rooms I experienced just look tired and need a good clean. The pool and the bar were good but the sauna only had limited hours and couldn’t find anyone to ask about it. OK for one night but wouldn’t have liked to have stayed for longer.

The digital check in procedure was very unwelcoming. They are just trying to save money by having the guests do everything. Not happy with the way things are going regarding lack of customer service these days.

On the day of our departure the cleaning staff came into our room at 8.30am without knocking, with no apology offered. The room was dated with holes in the curtains. The bed was odd, sloping upwards towards the feet, with only one pillow per person. I would not recommend this hotel.

The only two things i enjoyed was the easy Check In and the Pool. Besides this my Room was really small an had to many furniture inside. The toilett was to close to the sink so you can’t sit properly, the bed was squeaking and the matress was to worn out. The light inside my room was also barely there thats because i couldn’t move the curtains to the side.
