From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

Had a great stay at Mango Bay for five nights in mid April 2017. Reviews were right on. We had a room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The pool closes early, noise was never an issue. The beach was small but amazing, highly underrated. The best part is the food! Very small for a Fairmont but very nice property with all 72 rooms facing the sea. Everything you could want is on the property. Only challenge is that, for those who must roam, you must walk a bit to town, take a very convenient and inexpensive public bus, or taxi if you don't have a rental car. Staff was the most pleasant and accommodating I have ever encountered.

Staff was very helpful and friendly especially Alisha who went out of her way to help me find something to take back home.

If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. A wonderful old, colonial era hotel right on the water. Tons of history, amazing service, and a great restaurant right on site. Excellent getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, without many distractions.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

I booked this stay to surprise my partner for his birthday. I had several special requests that I made for our restaurant reservation as well as our room set-up and the response every time was “of course no problem”. I was consistently impressed with the personal attention we were given as guests for our short stay. The best experience ever. The staff was by far the best thing about this hotel. Anything we needed they offered to do. My wife even wanted to try a local dish not on their menu, they went to the market and prepared it specially for us. We were fine with directions to a local restaurant that served it. 10/10. Must stay here.

We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!

Great location, always clean and safe, pleasant staff, great beach, walking distance to everything you need. The BEST restaurant in Barbados is a few steps away, CHAMPERS! My family and myself are regulars here. The on site restaurant is very good too.

I never review any place I've been, but this place really exceeded my expectations. First off, I should say: The staff said this was their busy season, with occupancy around 90%. But, it didn't feel that way. No problem getting a table at the restaurants, no problems finding a place to sit at any of the pools... even if we came down at noon, there were always beach chairs available. From the airport pickup to Tameka setting me up in a Fantastic room that has everything one could need, from Ricardo being the utmost professional gentleman and best security to make me feel safe secure and comfortable.. it's a gem, it's quiet & peaceful and if your looking for the noise & crowds Just walk down to the gap, market and bus stops near & it's really a perfect spot to rest, relax, eat, swim in blue waters. Beautiful, clean hotel located on a perfect stretch of sandy beach. But what really made the difference was the friendliness of the entire staff. The restaurant and bar staff always extend a pleasant greeting and you will get to know them. The front desk helped me arrange tours of the island. They make you feel welcome at their hotel and glad you picked Barbados. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and I definitely would stay there again.

This was by far the best vacation I have ever been on (which has been quiet a few). The resort was 15 minutes from the airport, it was stunning with amazing views of the ocean, beach was clean, the staff was extremely accommodating and everyone seemed happy to be there and to help you.
