A good value for the price. The motel could use some paint and upgrades. But it was quiet, clean and safe. The free continental breakfast was excellent. I’d stay here again.

It is an economy hotel. Ok for the price, but definitely don't expect much. Basic room, helpful staff, ok breakfast, plenty of parking close to a major road for access.

The staff was very cordial when we checked in the room was exactly what we expected and for the price we thought this represented a terrific deal. If you’re looking for the Taj Mahal spent four times as much as they where you have to stay, but we will stay at the Microtel the next time we’re in Holland for sure.

I took my 13-year-old granddaughter to Muskegon/Holland for the weekend. We stayed here for one night. I understand it is a pet friendly place but as soon as we walked into the room, my granddaughter said it smells like straight dogs. She even sprayed her little perfume in the air. She further commented that the walls were dirty. This is coming from a child. The lobby area was clean with a decent continental breakfast.

The staff was friendly. The parking was plentiful. The room itself was okay. The bed looked clean, but the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed very recently. Nothing looks like it was falling apart, but it definitely looked like it was in need of attention. All-in-all, it was not awful. I really just needed a place to sleep, so it was helpful for my need. It was far from the best hotel I've stayed in, but it was also far from the worst hotel I have stayed in. I would give it a solid 3 stars.

A rather pleasant stay on our way through. Calm & quiet area. Close to downtown Holland but easy access off major roads. Staff kind & helpful. Some drywall/plaster needs repair. Breakfast was good but nothing exceeding great. My son greatly appreciated the hot chocolate. Cozy room.

Was ok place to sleep after spending the day in Saugatuck. Room clean. Bathroom Kleenex holder was flimsy and fell out after grabbing a Kleenex out. There was a nice breakfast buffet, but sausage gravy was lukewarm. Opted for oatmeal and yogurt. There was many dining portions nearby for dinner though. We were short drive to a Bdubs

Parking is easy and staff was great. Room and hotel are a little run down. Our room carpet had a run in it, walls by window had chipped drywall, tissue holder in bathroom came off the wall. Shower was fine with good water pressure and bed was comfy. Breakfast was fine

It was in a nice area. I stayed for two weeks. The room was clean, but it really depended on who you got to clean your room. For my room I usually got an Indian couple who didn't once make the bed, I'm not even sure they vaccumed the room everytime. On a few occasions I got a woman who did a great job of cleaning the room, she made the bed and vaccumed. In the two weeks my sheets were only replaced once. I thought hotels changed the bedding daily. They should at least make the bed daily. It was a dog friendly hotel and I had my dog with me. They charged $25/day for my dog. It would be nice if they had dispensers outside with bags for your pets poop. The breakfast was descent. I would consider staying again. There were several maintenance things on the property that needed to be addressed that clearly were deferred.
