Very clean. Nice amenities: you don't have to bring soap (for kitchen, bathrooms, or laundry), hair dryer or any towels. There are plenty of towels. This makes life easy. The beds are made so you can walk or nap right into your vacation. The hot water tank is big enough to accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. That's a big plus. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep at night (and afternoon naps). The hot tub is wonderful! The owner and housekeeping contact are very responsive.
The living room looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is, so it can't really accommodate five-bedrooms worth of people. It would be nice to have a table on the deck for meals.
The kitchen doesn't have a pantry, just a few cabinets for groceries. And while I admire that the owner invites us to leave unopened food for the next guests, I think it gives guests an excuse not to remove items that should be disposed of. The cabinets were literally full when we arrived; some of the items were open, some bottles almost empty, and most were items we would never use. Consequently, we had to spend our first hour there removing food (storing it in other rooms or disposing it), to make room for our groceries. This was also the case for refrigerated items.
One way to make more room for groceries is to cull through and remove many of the multiple pots and pans that are stored underneath the counter tops (and remove the big ice machine that sits on the limited counter space).
