"We had a great stay here as a group of 10 friends over Easter weekend. Lovely area to cook, eat and play games, with lots of nice walks close by. The house is charming and quirky in the best way."

"Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something...

"We did not stay. The back of the "apartment" complex looked like a third world ghetto. Overflowing dumpsters, trash on the ground, bad smells. The apartment itself seemed reasonably nice, but we could not abide with the trash outside. Very bad vibes. We attempted to switch to the Crowne hotel which ran these apartments, but they were booked up. Of course, no refund was even contemplated ."
