Just outside the centre of Holt is the North Norfolk Railway station where you can catch the Poppy Line steam and diesel train services to Weybourne and Sheringham. The coastline at Wells-next-the-Sea, Stiffkey, Morsten, Blakeney, Cley-next-the-Sea, Salthouse, Sheringham and Cromer is all reachable in under half an hour from the cottage. Less than ten minutes away, Thursford Wood is great for walking. The Pigs in neighbouring Edgfield is a destination countryside pub serving great British food, and also boasts a spa.
