"The hotel itself is incredible, the staff are helpful and friendly and the room was excellent. A couple of negative comments: I stayed in Room 7 which was a real trek from the reception area including a very tight set of steps at the end. Very difficult with a suitcase. The parking gave great confusion. On the noticeboards in the car park it clearly states that your car registration has to be declared in the hotel and parking paid for. I duly registered my car for the number of nights on the keypad. When I asked about payment, one member of staff told me there was nothing to pay as I was a hotel guest. Another member of staff told me I did need to pay. When I left I again inquired about parking and was told there was nothing to pay and indeed refused to take my money. It was then qualified by the statement 'if you receive a parking fine, contact us and we will void it'. I didn't fill me with confidence that the staff do not appear to know whether or not hotel guests are required to pay for parking or not. It is to be seen whether I receive a fine or not..."

"Lovely experience, beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the quay. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking was easy, good size carpark right outside and a fair price compared to other hotels in the area. Only downside was breakfast, everything was left to run low without being replenished and when we ordered some poached eggs, we had to wait ages and when they did come they were sat in a pool of water on a plate and were still raw on the inside which put us off the rest of our breakfast."

"Checked in for overnight stay for a wedding. When I checked in I paid for the room got my key. I was then told oh the floor you are on has some heating issues but there’s heaters in the room. I was ok with that. When I got to my room which was very me no heater, I rang down to reception they were very polite and said well sort it straight away within 5 minutes a lady was there with a good sized oil filled heater . My room was cozy and warm and smelt amazing . Breakfast was amazing too staff amazingly polite. Definitely stay again ."
