"Lai was a great host and looked after us well. He cooked lovely dinners and told us about the local walks and even played the guitar for us. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming in the river and patting the cat. Just note that during our visit the wifi wasn’t working and we found the bed uncomfortable. Also, take cash to pay for your meals."

"Rooms were nice and simple. Location is a bit far away from everything so we had to taxi to get food as there was nothing nearby and we arrived in the evening. There was no airport shuttle although it says there is 24hr shuttle available, tried calling but the call wouldn’t go through but I got connected to their Suva location instead who said their shuttle was unavailable and suggested taking a taxi. We got a taxi to the location which ended up costing us $32FJD despite location being close by....

"The owner cancelled on us half an hour before check in with a Story about the place needing to be cleaned up from a party the night before. I rang him about 1 hour before check in and he struggled to find my booking then cancels soon after leaving us high and dry. I even booked 6 months in advance. I would not recommend booking here as the owner cannot be trusted hence all his one star reviews. Plus the area is dirty and unsafe but it is next to the airport which is it's only good feature and...

"Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr hilfsbedürftig mit einer Menge Fehler. Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft 3h nach dem offiziellen Check in Zeitpunkt nicht fertig , so dass wir noch warten mussten. Zudem insgesamt recht laut. Ansonsten sauber und freundlicher Umgang. Der Drop zum Flughafen hat einwandfrei geklappt. Preis / Leistung passen nicht ganz zusammen."

"Easy to find, courtesy cars were very useful and they had someone at the airport waiting for us. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were lovely and friendly. Nice simple room for the 2 of us. Restaurant on site was so good, very filling and the complimentary breakfast was buffet with many options to choose from. I highly recommend!"

"Bula! Saphire was a beautiful place to bring together a family group, but could benefit from a couple of simple changes. It’s a stunning location at the top of the hill, and perfect if you like a bit more solitude/happy to travel to do things. The pool is beautiful but on the cold/refreshing side because it’s in the shade. The house is huge, so could easily host a crowd. It’s reasonably set up for cooking but simple things like dishwashing liquid are missing. Lots of pretty run down/needs...

"We loved this little resort. It was a perfect way to have a few quiet days after a 2 week cruise. The staff were all very kind and helpful, we had pizza one night that wasn't bad and fish dinner the other night. We were almost the only guests...another couple was there also. The chef offered to cook anything we wanted for dinner. The continental breakfast was simple but convenient. The best perk was getting picked up right infront of the cruise ship, literally, see the photo! We enjoyed...
