Charming laid back place that soothes the mind and soul. Peaceful setting, quiet, nature nearby. Full kitchen for use if you choose. Close local watering hole that has food and specials on the weekend within close walking range. A real fish camp with ramp and rental vessels. The hotel has a nice porch and at one end a fire pit for story telling. Being in a historic hotel from 1910.

The Hotel is a unique property, in a pristine “off the beaten path” in Homosassa. We were welcomed by very accommodating ‘Jonathan’. Our suite was half the hotel!!! If you are good with being in the woods, listening to owls, paddling, and exploring the area. This is a very special place. We recommend. BYOB, grill food, minor groceries etc. to make yourself comfortable. We will go back.☺️

This place is super clean. Cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Captains room could use a little larger TV only because I’m older and it was harder for me to see. I would most definitely stay here again if I ever came back this way.
