Shower flooded with every shower due to poor construction ( walk in shower, shower pane level with bathroom floor. ) The bathroom floor floods with every shower. I Asked for help.. I was told to just use more towels to cover the floor. Am I supposed to blow dry my hair standing in a puddle of water? No resolution other than use more towels. Check out, I was overcharged fees. And it took 30 min. To have someone find the mistake . On top of that the line at the front desk was so long it took more that 20 min to get in front of a person to look at the wrong charges. Very disappointing for such a caliber of a Hotel

Nice resort. Bell staff is amazing. Front desk staff operates like a high volume resort - No deviations and minimal explanations- have to figure things out in your own. Definitely buy the breakfast buffet - staff there is absolutely amazing and food is great.

“We had a frightening experience during our stay when my wife needed emergency care. Jerry and Mike from the staff were absolutely incredible — they responded quickly, stayed calm, and made sure we got the help we needed without any hassle. They even arranged for us to stay an extra night so we could recover. Their kindness and professionalism during a really scary moment meant everything to us. Beyond Jerry and Mike, the entire staff — from the housekeeping team to the front desk — were highly personable and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is the one. Highly recommend.”

We experienced a racial discrimination to Korean at reception when we had a dinner at the buffet restaurant. They introduced Sea Food and Korean BBQ, but actually did not provide the Korean BBQ. The oyster provided was not fresh and so I went to toilete several times during the sleep. It was a terrible experiences.

I would give the property a better review if the mattress and pillows were updated. I could clearly see the mattress had 2 valleys. And pillows were small, flat and not comfortable. The service and the employees make the stay awesome. Special kudos to the bartender Shaun at the Swim bar. Scorpions Rock! Robert on pigeon patrol at the Swim bar! And to all of the others that make the Hyatt Waikiki…. I’m sure we will be back with hope of an updated room. W. G. Doty.

We have visited this hotel for 4 years in a row because of the location, cost is reasonable. friendly staffs ready to help-out. unfortunately , we have experienced same issue on every visit. despite our preference, we are consistently assigned a room next to the elevator which brings heavy traffic and constant dinging noises late at night and early in the morning. we asked the checking staff to change our room and always gets the same answer that all the rooms are full. I dont know how they decide to assign the room but we make the reservation at least 4 to 5 months ahead and that doesn't seem to help. we plan to visit hawaii every year and we are considering to stay at other hotel from now.

It was nice. Very clean. The location was great. The buffet restaurant isn’t worth the price. The pool was clean and the staff at the swim up area were wonderful and very friendly. The valet service employees were great. We would definitely stay at this hotel again
