"We really enjoyed our cabin on the betsy, the things that we mostly appreciated were the fragrance free products from the laundry soap to the dish soap. As my husband is chemical sensitive this was greatly appreciated! The only thing that I wish had been provided was a starter bag of pellets for the pellet stove. It was annoying having to go pick one up, a welcome bag would have been a great convenience. Also a little reader lamp in the bedrooms would have been nice . Other than that the cabin...

"I got to Cabin 9 around 9pm after a long drive on icy roads on a 15 degree evening. When I opened the door to the cabin I was surprised to find it freezing cold inside, but I followed the directions to turn on the single small wall-mounted heater. My family and I spent about an hour in our coats in the sauna waiting for warm air to happen, and repeatedly reaching out to property management. The warm air never happened. "We had to call twice to get information on how to enter our room. Manager who spoke with us, said she could not call us earlier because Expedia did not include our phone number with our booking. We’ve booked with Expedia multiple times and I’ve never had this issue before. Area around the bed still had sand on it. The walls are not well insulated and you can hear noise noises from all the other rooms. We will not stay at this property again. "

"Hotel was nice, and the location was convenient for walking downtown and gtting in and out using the valet. Mattress was not very firm but comfortable. Calling ahead to get your car out of valet made traveling in and out easier, and we never had to wait for our car. Room was clean, and quiet. Easy to get some rest. Rooftop bar was nice, but more for the newly 21 crowd on Friday and Saturday night. Great beverages though."

"the stay was great, felt private, clean, and so close to downtown it was a quick drive or walk to be in the action. We stayed in a beach side room, with walk out access to the beach/water - this was so nice, could sleep with the door open and hear the waves. Staff was able to clean our room at the times we requested, this was super convenient as we came and went a lot. There are beach chairs and tables already on the beach, so it was nice to not need to supply those. The jacuzzi in room was also a perk."

"This could be a beautiful historic property with the right ownership, but it is clear that the current owners do not care for the property at all. Front fountain is broken and full of gross pond water, sign is dingy and cracked, elevators filthy and in disrepair. Front lobby looks beautiful (otherwise I would not have even checked in) but the rest of the property is really dumpy. Our balcony room was a joke - the balconies are filthy and the outdoor furniture is circa 1970s and not in good shape. Ledges between the rooms were full of cigarette butts and trash, screen on our neighbors balcony was hanging off our entire stay. Bathroom was tiny and awkward, plumbing was shoddy - hot water was slow, toilets slow to flush and easily clogged. Minerva’s on site could be cute but the servers and bartenders were more interested in doing side work than serving, clearing, or making drinks. Only positive to note is an excellent location - walking distance to beach and the shops and restaurants on Front Street."

"The room was clean & you could tell it was recently updated. Parking was very convenient & the hotel was in a pretty nice location. The room was pretty expensive, but was the cheapest in the area. Outdoor pool was decent, pool was nice enough. The pics of the property are a little but of a catfish type situation lol. But overall good, no major notes."
