"The hotel is situated in a very beautiful area. Conveniently located to the mall and other attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was also quite nice."

"The rooms are smaller than many hotels, especially the bathroom. Overall the room was good. Good bed, quiet room. They cleaned room daily and well. Breakfast was very good. It was above my expectations in variety of foods. Good Job! Ample parking, friendly staff. Good location for visiting in Poughkeepsie area."
Hampton Inn by Hilton New Paltz

"I prefer a known quantity to unique, and Hampton Inn provides a fresh, clean hotel, a delicious breakfat bar with lots of hot and cold choices, and it was quiet. We swam in the pool twice in the afternoon during our 5 day stay, and had it to ourselves. I missed having a hot tub, as this property has the indoors pool but no tub."
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Highland Poughkeepsie

"Staff member Ashley was friendly and helpful on check in. The room was clean and well kept. There was shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bar soaps in the bathroom along with a sufficient amount of towels. The shower water was hot and the pressure was average. The king bed was spacious, but not comfortable. There is a mattress protector that makes noise as you move and the mattress itself is not firm enough to support the back. I did find myself tossing and turning in the night because of the discomfort of the mattress, bit of humidity on the room and definitely because of the noise from the roadway. The breakfast runs from 6:30-9:30. It isn't a full menu, but it will do the trick in the morning. Sample items are eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice, breads, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Overall pretty good stay."
Mirbeau Inn & Spa Beacon

"We have been to Mirbeau Skaneatles several times. This was our first time to the Beacon property and it did not disappoint. The spa facility, rooms, and grounds were immaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch outside on the patio. And the town of Beacon was very welcoming with niche shops in a walkable downtown. We will definitely be back!"
