Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie / Hudson Valley

"The room was spotless, the bathroom was spotless and extremely well appointed. The blackout shade in the room did its job perfectly. The bed and bedding were perfect. We liked the fact that the back door was locked regardless of the time of day and had to use your room key to get in. The coffee and light breakfast was a great way to grab a coffee and a yogurt. The staff at the front desk was top notch and this was just a really great Hyatt. The last one we stayed at was in Connecticut and it was just okay, they need to learn from this Hyatt. We will be back."

"Incredible staff. Great location. Attention to guests superlative.West Point tours were fantastic. Only complaint was that it is extremely pricey. Which is understandable considering where we stayed. We ate there for 2 dinners, one lunch, and 1 breakfast. Meals are expensive but were great except for a breakfast that was stone-cold for $24 each."

"Very clean and quiet hotel. The bed was vey comfortable, spacious and clean. I only stayed for 1 night but will definitely come back."

"We had such an amazing and relaxing stay at Buttermilk Falls Inn! The property is absolutely beautiful and HUGE, with peaceful trails, adorable animals, and so many beautiful spaces to explore. It truly felt like a hidden gem and the perfect place to slow down, relax, and recharge. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful from start to finish. A special shoutout to Justice, who was absolutely amazing! She was so welcoming, sweet, helpful, and genuinely made us feel right at home. ❤️ We truly had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this place is a gem! ✨🌿🐐"
