"This was such a lovely home in a tranquil yet convenient part of East Sussex! It was stocked with everything we needed to get started and Katie was always responsive to our messages. Highly recommended!"

"Maria was an excellent host . There when we could not get hot tub started . Check in super easy. Good kitchen facilities. Wi fi . The tennis court was the greatest success. We were a family of 12 . 6adults 6children .What a grand house it was. It was a little dated and the Xmas decs tickled us in Aug .but the property was really lovely . Dated and maybe a little run down in places. Not very friendly with two year old as there were a lot of wires exposed in main TV room . There was a pond that we were not aware of beforehand . Quite a lot of clutter in places especially in conservatory where we spent a lot of time . chickens were noisy but we are farmers so not too much of a bother. Had a lovely stay . Hope this review not too critical but wanted to be honest. Thankyou Maria"

"Property was just as described, in a lovely part of the countryside, convenient to coast and interesting places like Charleston (Vanessa Bell home) and Sissinghurst (Vita Sackville-West home). "

"Lovely spacious property with well appointed rooms. Great for a self catered family get together- not much else locally but that’s what we wanted. Heathfield easy to get to in a car for provisions.Walked to Horse and Groom for Sunday lunch, pretty nice walk and easy enough. Pub nice but food was shocking. ( obviously nothing to do with host) just for reference for future guests.Overall house was great, good outside areas for games and chilling also Would recommend! "

"We were a large group and Gary was brilliant at helping to accommodate the extra people staying. They were always on call and our overall stay was very smooth. The property is brilliant, with loads to do on site. Having the tennis courts and jacuzzi were such an added bonus. "
