Romantic Farmhouse in Flanders, 30 km from Ghent
- Den Haegepreeck is a lovely Flemish farmhouse in the historic village of Horebeke, close to Oudenarde (8km) and Ghent (30km). Set in the rolling green countryside of the Flemish Ardennes which has numerous hiking and cycling possibilities. It would make an ideal base from which to explore some of the most interesting and undiscovered parts of Belgium. The charming property dates from 1805 and is sympathetically restored and authentically furnished (Less suitable for people having difficulties with stairs). The house has modern comforts and central heating. On colder days you will undoubtedly enjoy relaxing moments by the wood stove in the cosy living room or at dinner in the equally cosy dining area and then an exciting game of billiards. On sunny days the garden and terrace are fantastic to sample a local beer or enjoy a barbecue with family or friends.
