Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. I had a very comfortable stay in a small, quiet village. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and provided me with information about the local area. The hotel has a nice outdoor area for eating. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. My room was clean and spacious, with a very nice shower. Though the weather was quite warm, I had an excellent night's sleep. This peaceful area has many biking/hiking trails.

Such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was in a building connected to the main mansion, so make sure to follow the directions that are sent to you about finding it if yours is there as well. Perfectly decorated, very comfortable room. The main mansion, it was so lonely and authentically historic. The owner and the operator is on call when she is not there. Do not hesitate to call her. She gave me a wonderful tour of the grounds, including the hunting lodge and hothouse.

Nice new building, very good linens and towels, helpful owner. Location a little off the beaten path but GPS will get you there.

Perfect location, very near to the train station, clean. Overall very happy.

Beautiful property with a nice spa. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. Overall, I had a great stay. For Improvements, I would recommend to switch form bottled waters in the room and spa to filtered water with glasses to save on plastic. Lastly, the breakfast was nice but I didn’t feel like it was worth nearly 30 euros.
