Cabin on Rice Lake access to Mississippi River 1 bedroom/1 bath sleeps 4

"The entire experience was fabulous. We wanted someplace to just be away from our normal routine. It was wonderful to watch all the kids on the lake, the friendly boaters going by. Watching the Loons and a family of ducks. The cabin was very clean and easy to navigate. It was right on the lake. Couldn't get any closer unless you were in it. My husband sat on the deck the entire time and loved it. I drove to Miners Mountain and walked the trails, it was beautiful and only about 17 minutes away. A good place to eat right off the main road, before turning into the road to the cabin. I would recommend this cabin to anyone."

"Wow what a beautiful home. We loved being out in the woods and on the lake. The view from inside the home and outside were both outstanding. We lived on the deck! it was such a hot weekend, in the 90's, but the deck remained cool all day long. The loons were visible from the deck or inside the home. Loved waking up hearing them. The bedrooms were perfect. Beds comfortable. We had a room for everyone in our group. I choose to sleep on the couch because someone was snoring, and that was comfortable also. We cooked breakfast and dinner a few days. Everything worked well, no issues at all. We can't tell you about the fish, we didn't do that, but don't miss this opportunity to stay here, you won't regret it. I am a very fussy traveler and won't stay in anything old and worn. This is a wonderful cabin feel with lovely amenities. We will rent from them again. If you're a runner or walker, the roads behind the house are perfect. No traffic. We enjoyed watching a family of deer, woodpeckers, loons, and otters as we walked. (yes, otters were in the water).We grilled out a few times, No issues here. Huge gas grill for a large family. We didn't bring our dogs, but its pet friendly. the price was excellent."

"This is a great place to retreat to the woods. It's not on North Long Lake but it is near the Paul Bunyon Trail and between Brainerd and Nisswa. The space was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and had what we needed to make meals. The host did a great job communicating and responding to any questions. Would stay here again."

"The owner is great and bent over backwards to make us feel great there, he is happy to share his deck with you. we just sat out side on the picnic table and on the 2 chairs and watched the boats that came by, it is far out there if arriving at night so beware, it is by the airport and breakfast at the airport café is outstanding and they also have baked goods!!"
