"We really enjoyed our short stay in Mitsu at this lovely ryoken, and wish we could have stayed longer. The garden was stunning and very peaceful, and feeding the fish was an extra treat! Our host Katsuhiro was so welcoming and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Mitsu was a really interesting place to explore with lots of local shops and restaurants, and very friendly people. Hopefully one day we will be able to return and spend some more time there."

"We loved all of the amenities of this hotel. There is a room with two massage chairs for guests to use, of course the onsen which was lovely. They offer free ice cream or popsicles in the afternoon. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Good location. An easy walk to the castles and restaurants."

"Rooms were clean and staff were very kind and helpful. Beds were a bit hard for my taste but weren’t bad. Rooms are smaller than American rooms but still nice and met the necessity. Breakfast was tasty and cost 1100 yen if you chose to eat. They offer both traditional Japanese food and also western foods. Coffee was very tasty."

"Conveniently located close to Matsuyama Station, we were happy to stay one night at this hotel. Even though it may be old, it was very clean and the beds were the softest we experienced in Japan, which was good for our backs. The staff were so kind and placed our bags into our room before we checked in, so we did not have to lug them all the way there. One thing to be mindful of is that there was no working A/C in our room."
