"Overall, our stay at Barceló San José was okay. The hotel, rooms, and lobby were clean, and the staff was nice. However, the pool area could use better maintenance since there were a lot of leaves and debris, especially in the kiddie pool. The hotel also feels a bit outdated. Breakfast was just okay — it would be nice to have more variety and international food options for guests from different countries."

"The room is disgusting, there was a kitchen in our apartment with a rancid smell. The room smelled of mold and there were hairs on the pillowcase. The bathroom was awful. The toilet did not flush unless pressed twice. The shower head had exposed wires. There was limited hot water. "

"Nice condo in a very nice neighborhood. Lots of nearby restaurants and stores. Short walk to the stadium!"

"Noisy but nice. The 15th floor penthouse condo was comfortable but very windy most days. And, it is on the flight path of a small airport so that added to the noise. The view from the balcony was lovely and the furniture was fine. Linens were basic but adequate as was the kitchen equipment. Nice, clean, secure spot. We enjoyed our month. Pedro was very easy to reach and quite helpful. "
