Been staying here for more than 15 years The hotel is great, the Casino is nice and the Bar ChiChis is a sports bar with great food. The pool area is nice. There is also a Dennys here and a Subway across the street. I've been here 3 times this year.

I love Holiday Inn La Sabana

I led a school group of 9 people, divided into 7 rooms. Everyone had a very pleasant stay, and the staff at Holiday Inn La Sabana is first rate. Excellent care and attention, and wonderful breakfast. The food options at Chi Chis could be better, though, and less expensive. Otherwise, a great hotel! I'll be back again in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel for 15 years It has a great bar/restaurant and a wonderful pool area with a jacuzzi. It also has a Mega Super right next door and a wonderful Casino that also has excellent Food.

I was there for 4 days. It was clean, the staff was SUPER friendly. There was plenty of dining options on and off property within a short walk. The pool & pool area was nice,clean and relaxing the jacuzzi was nice but the jets wernt working so the water was just warm. Good stay over all!

I did not realize until the check in day that i booked the wrong holiday Inn. By the description, i thought i booked the one close to the airport since it had an airport shuttle available. We needed to be close to the airport due to an early flight (6am). So i rebooked at the holiday In Express, which is the one i really wanted. was not able to cancel and get a refund. Since it was the day of checkin. So i lost the $585 in fees.also, i didnt realize how difficult it was to get around San Jose so it would’ve take. Is 40 minutes to get to the airport.

Be careful when making a reservation, we made it for the Holiday Inn but was given a room in another hotel called Irazu. I was told that I made the reservation incorrectly but I checked with Expedia and made the right one. I spoke to the front desk staff and nothing could be done. The hotel is right next to the Holdiay Inm, but you can immediately tell the difference, pool, rooms, ambiance, etc. The room had a smell, the towels were dirty and the water took 5 minutes to warm up. Will definitely not stay again. I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes, she/he wasn’t available. Not worth the money or time we spent
