Close to all the action! Location is Everything!

The Cate Cottage is a mid-century, single story home located on beautiful Country Club Drive, just across the street from the Hot Springs Country Club. Enjoy the views of the golf course and gorgeous scenery surrounding the area. Located just minutes from Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort and historic Bathhouse Row. Enjoy all that Hot Springs has to offer from this beautiful, safe location.

INDOOR LIVING
Cozy bedrooms provide that much needed rest with new California King and Queen mattresses. The comfortable open living area is the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. A fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and wifi are available for your convenience. Games are provided for that special "game night."

OUTDOOR LIVING
Enjoy the outdoor space in the backyard with charcoal grill.

Perfect House!

This house was perfect for us! My son was in a college golf tournament at Hot Springs Country Club, and the house was directly behind the club. It made commuting from the house to the course a breeze. The house was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again.

Safe neighborhood, lots of room, inhospitable host

We rented this home at a premium price for the solar eclipse. The neighborhood did not disappoint. We felt incredibly safe. There was a lock box system to obtain the key. No problems with that! It was an easy process. I did communicate with the host on check in day that GPS reported that we would arrive about 1 hour before check in time. The host did not reply to me. So, no big deal. We waited until the 4pm check in time. A gracious, hospitable host would invite their guests to please come on and 1 hour early is no big deal. We did not get any response. The kitchen and main bath are very dated. We did have trouble with the faucets and drain in the bathtub like other guests noted in their reviews, but we simply hung a wet washcloth on the drain lever and it kept it open so water could drain out of the tub. The WiFi worked great! The washer and dryer worked well and it was nice to have complimentary detergent. There were 4 of us that stayed at the house. When we arrived, I could not find the sofa bed’s sheets so I reached out to the host to find out where they were. She replied immediately to this, responding that the city ordinances prohibited more than 6 people in a rental and since they added another bed in the bedroom, they didn’t have the sofa made up. I told her that we 4 people, wanted 4 beds. No response. We went to dinner and I planned to stop and buy sheets. When we got back to the house, the host had left sheets on the sofa. Still no communication!!! Disappointing

Golf trip

Location for us was key as we were at the course for 3 days. Place was quiet and felt safe. Loved the kitchen and living room areas. Met our needs.

It was okay

Clean and comfortable. Very close to Hot Springs. Neighborhood was decent, but it was at the entrance of a country club. You hear every single vehicle drive by and leaf blowers at 7 in the morning. No curtains in the bedrooms, so the lights from the country club (literally across the street) and headlights from passing cars light up the main bedroom. Could really benefit from some curtains. Bathroom shower does not drain. You have to constantly hold down a little metal lever to keep it draining; it’s not clogged, it’s part of the system I guess. I see someone else had a similar complaint in a previous review although they thought it was clogged. Main issue we had was very poor customer service. I had messaged the property the morning of our arrival to ask if we could check in a little early (I’m talking like 6+ hours before check in). The whole day passed and we never got a response. No big deal, we were okay with spending time in Hot Springs. However, when I messaged them about the shower not draining like it should, they messaged me a few hours later to text a number with a picture of what I was talking about. I did that when we got back to the house (it wasn’t late) and also asked about where the larger trash bags were to replace the kitchen bin’s bag after removing the trash (they ask to take trash out on Wednesdays, which is totally fine) but I never got a response for either issue. Only reason 4 stars is proximity and price were great.

Last year it was excellent this year it was not the bathroom water clogged every time someone took a shower the smell of the place was not that good the stove one grill did not work

Great place to stay!

We had a great mother-daughter weekend at Country Club Cottage. It was super cute and very clean in a lovely location convenient to all Hot Springs has to offer.
