This cabin features an outdoor pool, express check-out, and barbecue grills. Self parking is free. Other amenities include a picnic area and RV/bus/truck parking. All 10 cabins feature kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves, plus dining areas and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. Sitting areas, coffee makers, and ceiling fans are among the other amenities available to guests. Limited housekeeping is available.
Lela's Landing offers 10 air-conditioned accommodations with ceiling fans. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas. Flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels. Condo is very dated and outside is in rough shape. Pool is a mile away. Inside dated but clean and functional. Main attraction is the river just a few feet away. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff was friendly.

The lady at the front desk was really nice! NO ONE said that it was a RV park! There was a foul smell in the room that would not go away. There were cracksnjn the walls and paint was chipping off the walls!

I enjoyed my stay! We had issues in the beginning,but the staff was very accommodating! She came out at 9 p.m. and resolved all our issues day one! The rest of the weekend was wonderful!!

TWO WEEK HOLIDAY

Great view of the lake, bring your fishing rod as that is a great past time. Did not think the room, dishes etc were very clean, some mold in bath. Went out and bought cleaning supplies as they are not provided. I did ask and received the floors mopped the second week of our stay. This is a multi use property, RVing, Condo rentals and some older buildings that need some TLC. Calling office is not always possible as the mail box had been FULL even during open hours of 10 to 4 pm, Tues thru Saturday. Did report water dripping in faucets and maintenance came and looked and I am sure that it will be taken care of after we leave. Generally the area is very quiet. If you have children I would suggest you ask for a first floor as every sound upstairs in heard below. If you like rustic, quiet and great view this may be the place for you

We loved the lake front property. Water was so close. Neighbors were pretty loud the whole time. Kids running around on the 2nd floor. Stomping non stop. Didn't see any staff the whole time we were there. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. The actual room was pretty nicely kept up. Just needs upgrades done to the balcony and inside the cabin as well

Very good location for fishing. Condo was pretty clean but not well stocked. There’s no can opener, spatula, or tongs. Overall stay was good. We will book again just be more prepared.

Our son just wanted to fish!

It was a nice quiet place to spend the night. We requested a room where you could step out your door and fish. There were three condos empty with this option, but we were placed across from them. We might go back and will be sure to be more specific on what we want. People were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this facility!

just a shame

This place could really be nice, it has a lot going for it. It's right on the river with eagles flying overhead during the day and owls calling each other all night. The room itself could have been really nice as well with a coat of paint and some elbow grease. The sliding glass door was covered with some lime scale so that you could not see the view of the river. The back porch was falling apart. The stocked kitchen had no frying pans or paper towel. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and no one answered the phone at the front desk. The lamp by the bedside had not light bulb in it. The bed only had one thin blanket, lucky I brought one from home because the space heater in the room did not work. The jagged rock wall kept catching my line a hooks so the fishing was difficult. Looking around at the grounds you can see the potential, and you can see how much the people who own this place don't care.

Weekend family get away

The room was extremely small for 7 people which was what the reservation said. There was no dining table for us to eat. The hot water tank was so small we had to shower in shifts to let water tank refill and heat the water. The bunkbeds were horrible. The storage for towels was in bedroom downstairs so no privacy for guest in that room. No internet service! We were so disappointed that we left Saturday and stayed at hotel. The property was great but the condo was not maintained and in poor condition. Very, very disappointed!! Would not recommend.

Ideal for groups looking for a cheap stay

Nothing fancy, good number of beds, nice if you're in a group and trying to save some bucks. There is only one restroom though, so plan your morning in advance :-)

I loved the location of Lela's Landing, right on the water. So peaceful! And although the cabin was clean, it needs a bit of updating. Plus the outside grill was unusable, and the mattress on the downstairs bed was so worn out, my husband complained of back and neck pain.

Friendly staff and pretty view

This was located on a beautiful river, leading to the lake. The condo itself was very accommodating and large enough for two families. The rating would be higher if they would trim some bushes and take down the massive amounts of spiders/webs that were outside and on the patio. It made sitting outside, especially at dusk, not so pleasant. The staff was super friendly. I would stay again, just bring some spray and a broom to knock down the spiders.

Nice condo that backs up to the lake.

Not a place for kids to swim in the lake unless you have a boat. It was clean but small. However, it served the purpose and I would come back.

Can't be the price!

We staying in the 1 bedroom(duplex type house), was perfect for 2 Adults and possible 1 child on the comfy sofa. We received a call to confirm our arrival, as it was just before the holiday (I thought that was nice of them). The directions were confusing to us, so we drove around arguing and re-reading until we finally figured out where to turn. The bed was less desirable, like a fold up roll away bed with wheels, but the fact that it was right on the water made up for it! You can rent, pontoon, boats, jet skis and even kayaks. (next time for sure!) The place had a picnic table,recommend taking comfy camping chairs, float with rope and a swim suit(wish we had)there is a post to tie to, so you can relax and not get swept away. Each place has a outside bbq pit and a mini refrig inside, so a small cooler might also be warranted. There is also a swimming pool nearby.There is NO WiFi- which was scary at first(no phone calls) but it was actually a distressing blessing! There is a window unit in the living room that works pretty good although airflow was minimal to the bedroom and worse if you closed the bedroom door (so you don't have to hear the hubby and TV) bring ear plugs. lol All in all I think it was an amazing cozy remote spot for some rest and relaxation! And better than a regular hotel room. And for the price, you just can't beat it! Definitely recommending and will return!

Our condo was in a RV/Trailer Park right on Ouichita River. While they all could stand little TLC such as outdoor paint, it seemed that the condo we were in was in the worst shape on the interior. It hasn't been updated, except for a flat screen wall mount installation. It was clean and quiet, and had a beautiful view right on the river, so that made up for the lack of updates on the inside. Also, ours only had two recliners, no sofa, so there was nowhere for my husband and I to sit together to watch television. (I realize now that the condo we received is not part of the photographs on the listing.) Our check in envelope was taped to the door of the office with a map of the park and instructions to leave the keys on the counter when we left. It was easy enough to check in and out. I had to give a ratingn for the staff, so i gave a 5 on the assumption that they would have been polite if i needed them, but since check in and out consisted of leaving keys on a countertop I really can't comment on the staff because I had absolutely no contact with them whatsoever. Overall, it's a nice place to stay to get away from town and have a quiet, relaxing vacation on a beautiful river. If that's all you're looking for, I highly recommend it.
