Private spot from other RVs, with an amazing view (this is not your normal RV park ;). We love to see pets join the vacation. If you are bringing more than 1 pet, please contact first before booking. The pet fee is for 1 pet.

Beautiful view over hot brook canyon.

King size master, bunk room with double and single beds. Sofa bed in living room for 2. Sleeps 7 total.

Brand new deck just added, for the hot tub and nice place to sit and relax.

Let us know if you would like the 4 person hot tub during your visit.

Nice large bathroom and shower, fireplace, 39in popup tv with dish service, dinning table inside and outside under the 20ft awning.

Lots of big windows to enjoy the canyon views throughout your entire stay.

Ac, stove, frig, WiFi... All the comforts of home. Coffee pot is a combo Keurig / drip.

Enjoy everything from beautiful sunrises to amazing sunsets.

Rv is parked in a secluded area in the trees close to the cliff, but still easy to get to with a car or motorcycle and well hidden from the main house.

Please remember this is a RV/Camping experience, the RV does have AC, but in the hot summer months we can not guarantee the RV will be as cool as your home. The nights typically drop down in the 50's/60s even in the summer, so with open windows, it usually is very comfortable sleeping.

The RV provides enough space for family of 4. The Bathroom was spacious, and hot tub on deck was a plus. The kitchen had all you needed to make and serve meals. We loved the privacy and the view of the surrounding land. The night sky is the best view of all.

Great stay!

It was a fantastic place to stay! Well appointed and very comfortable. The views were amazing and the outdoor space is perfect to hang out on all day. The only issue we had was the shower didnt have any water pressure so we resorted to wash cloths for bathing.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Hot Springs is a great place to stay away from the crowds of other towns in the Black Hills with a lot of outdoor adventures to be had. The Sandpiper is on a gorgeous bit of land with a beautiful view, and you can't go wrong with dog-friendly and a hot tub. This was a special vacation since it was our first with our son (5-months old), and he slept great because he was able to have privacy and quiet. Thank you for a great stay!

Great property. Gorgeous views. Dog friendly. Camper was clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a nice perk! Close to wind cave national park and Custer state park.

Perfect Stay

The views from this property were breathtaking. The camper had everything we needed to enjoy family dinners and time together and plenty of space for everyone to sleep or relax. It was also the perfect place for the dog to relax when we went on daily excursions that she couldn't be a part of. Communication with the hosts was also top-notch. Any questions or problems we had were answered or taken care of immediately. Thanks for a great stay - we hated to leave!

We had an amazing and beautiful experience staying at the sandpiper. We were greeted with warm smiles and felt incredibly welcomed. Everything was taken care of and the owners are so responsive. The property has the most stunning views any time of day, from sunsrise to star filled skies. Absolutely, peaceful.

Our three boys were in heaven at this property. Hosts were personable, attentive when needed, but we also had space. The RV is absolutely beautiful and so is location. Felt like a little of the outdoors with total luxury. Pics don't do it justice. Near mammoth site and wind cave and not too far from other big sights. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our stay. Waking up and seeing the close and sunrise was our favorite part of this stay. The kids enjoyed the view and swing. The open and safety. The kids woke up and enjoyed outside without worried of danger. The RV is pretty spacious that pictures doesn’t justify. The master room was big enough for us and our little girls pack and play crib. The full size bed with a twin above is also its own room so everyone had their own space. We loved our stay. Highly recommend to anyone. Phone service is non existent at the mountains so it’s a great way to completely shut off the world and live in the moments. My phone did have WiFi but it wouldn’t load any apps such as the weather or anything so I was completely clueless on the weather and things going on with social media. I believe that’s just because my phone wouldn’t come off roaming. Don’t let the distance scare you because escaping reality and living this cliff dream was the best thing my family got to do. Also, there are two adorable goats close to the property that my kids fell in love with and enjoyed watching them eat and jump around. Such cute little chunky goats. Trust your guts and book this property and enjoy the escape. You won’t regret it!

Little piece of heaven

Where to start? This place is amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful. It's remote yet close enough to use it as a home base to explore the area. Wade and Patricia are super hosts. They especially great with the kids! The kids LOVED to visit the them everyday and hang with all their four legged family members, Toy, Buttercup, Willy and Waylon. I think they adopted them as their 3rd set of grandparents. We were very sad to leave but hopefully we will return sometime in the near future. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! The Hall family

A Must See!

Well I must say this place is one of the best place to go and we will be back time and time again.. We enjoyed our stay so much we even have thought of moving there! The Evans are simply amazing and totally accommodating. They had everything we needed and more! The property is outstanding, with lots of privacy and fantastic veiws! This was the best vacation our family of four has had.. We even had kids ages 6 and almost 2 and they had more fun then us! The Rv is beautiful with everything you need including a hot tub to enjoy the chilly days while soaking in the view. There was tons to explore and places to even go visit with in reasonable driving distance plus we seen amazing things along drives. If you're looking for a place with privacy and the wonders of nature this is totally it while still having the mondern comforts! You can be a tourist and feel at home all at the same time! I would recommend this place to everyone!

What a great stay in the Black Hills (VRBO Rental #630035)!!

We can't express, in just words, what an enjoyable time we had staying in Wade & Patricia's RV on their property in the Black Hills. Even though, they are located an hour south of the main attractions (e.g., Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake to name a few), it was well worth it for the following reasons: 1) Their RV's come fully equipped with all the amenities needed to fully enjoy your stay there (The pics don't do it justice)*Note* If you don't bring groceries, just go to Sonny's Super Foods in Hot Springs as they have everything you need at very reasonable prices 2) Their RV's have some of the nicest views of any place we've ever stayed at and it is very peaceful (away from the usual, holiday hustle & bustle) 3) Despite the 1-hour trip north to the main attractions, it's the beautiful sites/scenery along the way that makes it such a nice drive (be sure to take Needles Hwy. and/or Iron Mountain Rd.) *Note* Trust us, you won't be disappointed and you will stop several times for pics as there are numerous viewpoints/turn-offs for you to easily park 4) There are also things nearby, within 15-30 minutes drive, you can experience as well (e.g., The Mammoth Site, the wildlife loop drive, the Wind Cave, Evan's Plunge, etc.) 5) They are very pet-friendly. We can't even begin to tell you how appreciative we were of Wade & Patricia to check in on our dog and even take her out to play with their dogs 6) You'd be hard-pressed to come across people more down-to-earth, helpful, and accommodating than these genuinely nice folks I could go and on, but it's best you see for yourself. Truth is, the selfish part of us didn't want to write this review, so that we could keep this little hideaway a secret, but that would be a disservice to Wade & Patricia who treated us so well. Rest assured, we will be back! Sooner rather than later. Enjoy your stay there!

Beautiful place to unwind after a day of site seeing.

A perfect way to unwind after seeing the sites of the Black Hills area. The property is a little slice of heaven, the views are beautiful. The Sandpiper was the prefect size for our family of 3. The hosts are really friendly and had great recommendations of things to do in Hot Springs. Make sure to visit the Mammoth Site, it was an unexpected surprise for us and ended up being our favorite thing we did!

Loved the Sandpiper

Our stay in Hot springs, South Dakota was very nice. We’re thinking of now trading our camper in for a Sandpiper…the property we stayed on had a stunning view, so even though this location was quite far from everything, the view definitely made up for all the driving. Will definitely let our friends and family know. The only down side was that in the evening when we got back and wanted to watch a little tv before bed we couldn’t get on anything. Thank goodness my husband had a good telephone plan, he would just use his phone for the data to watch something; internet froze a lot. Thank you Wade and Patricia for sharing your beautiful spot with us.
