"Amazing staff willing to try to accommodate any request. Great location to see everything in town (it’s very walkable and you can also rent a bike and go anywhere) and to travel to and from other countries. The room could’ve been a tiny bit cleaner but honestly it seems every hotel has let standards slip since Covid. First hotel in Europe I’ve seen where the thermostat will let you set the A/C below 20C, place deserves 5 stars for that alone."

"The price is worth every dime. The location in old city is close to all the museums, fun restaurants and a great quite neighborhood. Very charming outdoor space, beautiful bar and restaurant. Hotel staff beyond help full with things to do, restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our room was spacious, super comfortable and the bath was large and very spa like with the double rain shower/ hand held, tile, mirror lighting (a huge plus) and super large freestanding soaking tub."

"Had a junior suite - very nice. Clean and plenty of room. Nice little balcony. Very central location. Inside the hotel was nice and staff was outstanding. Outside the property / the side walks are pretty dirty and the area is very busy. Felt safe though. While waiting for our car service outside, the front desk staff kept coming out and checking in with us. She was so nice."

"Great hotel in an excellent location. Staff very helpful and the best fresh cooked breakfast we’ve eaten. We were even surprised to find a cake in our room as a gesture of goodwill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately our room wasn’t clean to the standards you would expect for a hotel of this calibre. Some days we were not sure if the cleaner had even been in to clean the room. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay."

"I really struggled on how I wanted to rate this hotel, but overall I had a poor time and wouldn’t book there again. My main problems were the lack of air conditioning because I came during a heat wave and the really rude staff on my arrival day. The older woman who worked there was rude, acted like I was an inconvenience for simple things. Did not even want me to allow my friends to help me carry my heavy luggage up the 4 flights of winding narrow stairs (no elevator) and told me I could not have any guests in my room during the mid day. My friends from Leiden just wanted to change from walking around clothes to dresses and heels for dinner. Her attitude made us feel like school children and her presence made me feel like I was unwelcome in the space and between that and the old amenities I began to second guess if I had accidentally booked a hostel. However, once she left my stay was much nicer with the male employee who was friendly and didn’t make me feel unwelcome. Overall the building location is the best part of booking here, but for me not worth it to do again."

"This property is in the heart of Amsterdam and close to everything. The hotel is quite nice and we chose the small room overlooking the canals. Beautiful view of the sunset! The room was very clean with wood floors. Previous reviews noted the rooms were very small and that’s true it was compact but everything one would need is there and honestly I really liked it! The staff were warm and helpful and assisted us in getting a taxi back to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!"
