Amazing

Super cute and very clean bed and breakfast. Easy check in with clear instructions. The room was spot less and the water, wine and snacks in the main house were a nice touch. The neighborhood is very safe and very quiet.

In town for Probate meeting. I needed to be in the Heights. I grew up there and always drove by your Inn. It suited my needs perfectly! Very quiet and a great rate. I will definitely be returning this fall.

Sara's Inn is an absolute gem. It was a peaceful little home away from home in a beautiful neighborhood. The contactless check-in was a breeze. If there is any chance of your phone dying while you are enjoying a night on the town, write the code to the front door down on a Sara's business card and slip it in your wallet. ;)

This was a very beautiful room and a nice quiet stay. It is very easy to check in and out even without any actual person to talk with. On my trip I was looking for unique places and this was a great find. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Houston area.

Lovely room in older house

One-night stay was great. Inn was very accommodating to allow us to store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Neighborhood is walkable and felt very safe. Great selection of restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom pristine clean. High quality self-service coffee available.

Unique spot with classic charm in the Heights

Quirky, independent inn in the center of the Heights. Be aware that this is one neighborhood in Houston that has character, and this place demonstrates it. This is my second stay at Sara's and I love it. Each room is unique, with modern conveniences, great decor, comfortable beds, and a perfect location.

Very clean property and a very comfortable room. Its location in the Heights is excellent. My only complaint is that the plumbing didn’t drain well in the shower or the sink. The hot water in the shower was a little finicky too, but thankfully there was a label to help sort it out. We would easily stay here again.

Excellent for a stay in the Heights

Check in was very easy. This place is rented as a party venue and there was a baby shower taking place when we arrived. This made for limited parking at the time, but once that was over there was no issue parking on the property. The location was excellent for attending anything in the Heights area. I know we will use Sara's Inn again in the future. I was impressed with "the bones" of this house. Very solid and the room was very quiet.

Great room for the price.

It felt like it was in a really great location that was safe so that was great for me. I stayed in the floral room, and my only complaint here is that water pressure was extremely low and the hot water didn’t even work in the sinks. Both sinks had the faintest dribble of water, and when trying to wash my face the water on the hot side never got remotely warm. Other than that, it was a great room! The beds were really comfortable!

More than expected

The inn more than met my expectations and maintained a fair price for accommodations noting that it was the NCAA football championship evening at NRG stadium. Pauline was helpful with planning transportation to and from the stadium and flexible with my arrival time. The home was lovely and clean. I stayed in the Empress room which was a good size room with a king sized bed and cozy decor. Thank you. Will recommend to friends.

Not quite Bed & Breakfast Option in Houston

This is a sort of bed & breakfast type place, (although like many hotels they have used the COVID excuse to get out of doing the breakfast thing). "Safety safety safety" AKA "We got out of having to do this and we ain't going to start up again anytime soon." Positives: 24/7 coffee pot was great for anytime coffee. Parking at site included was a wonderful perk. They do book other activities there so one did have to be cognizant of parties and such going on in the common rooms but for my needs, (sleeping there after events) it was fine. There are a lot of stairs so be prepared for that. Walkable to downtown if you don't mind a decent 2-3 mile hike. Most of it is on a bike trail you can access though so very safe and leads you to a lot of food and drink options. Staff was polite and unobtrusive. They did clean each day and the room and bathroom were very nice even if a touch small.

This place is amazing-I'd love to see the other rooms! Ours was the Floral Room (not my taste of decor but loved the details to everything in the 3 rooms). The colors were beautiful and so welcoming. Owner spent a long time and money putting it all together-wow! Room was super clean upon arrival and peaceful. Directions as to what we needed to do were clear. Nice to have the upstairs porch to sit on. The dining area is good sized and again the decor outstanding. There is a large screened in room right off the dining area and access to kitchen, snacks/wine. The coffee/hot drinks machine was awesome-so many choices and good too (I want one for my house)!! Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars for our stay. When we arrived there was only one bar of soap to use between the shower and double sinks.The toilet paper was basically gone in the holder and we had one roll to use. We resorted to going to the restroom in the main house to get another roll to use. No service given inside the room whatsoever (we only had the do not disturb sign out first night bc we didn't arrive until 9:30) and there was no need for cleaning or freshening up. Our garbage was overflowing as there are 2 very small garbage cans which fill quickly. We didn't receive additional bottles of water either. There was an envelope on the desk for us to leave a tip for service provided-we chose not to since there was no service provided during our stay. Would we stay again-YES. Recommend-YES. Neighborhood is so nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Sara’s Inn on the Boulevard. The property was quiet and very clean, which made it easy to relax. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re well laid out and comfortable. The shower was excellent—good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Parking was also a big plus: easy, convenient, and stress-free. Overall, a solid, no-nonsense place to stay, and we’d happily return.
