"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

We enjoyed our 2 week stay , it was rural yet close to everything! 20 minutes to Mainz, Wiesbaden, 30 minutes to Frankfurt , The town was within walking distance with wonderful restaurants . "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."
