"Wir haben mit Freunden ein Wochenende in diesem sehr schönen Haus verbracht. Alles ist liebevoll gestaltet, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Abends konnten wir schön am Ofen sitzen. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, die reizvolle Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein. Eltville und das nahe Kloster sind sehenswert. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben."

"We enjoyed our stay. It is a spacious place and a good location. We walked to the Mainz Fußball stadium for a game. We bought pastries at the gas station across the street in the mornings. We walked to the Mewe grocery store around the corner. Our only complaints were that there was no washing machine as listed, no WiFi or internet as listed, and no responses from host during our stay. "

We enjoyed our 2 week stay , it was rural yet close to everything! 20 minutes to Mainz, Wiesbaden, 30 minutes to Frankfurt , The town was within walking distance with wonderful restaurants . "Das Wochenende in Mainz war sehr schön. Das Hofhaus war schön gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte. "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."
