"The overall vibe of the hotel is kind of lived in and quiet. It definitely needs a little update here and there while still being able to preserve the aesthetic of Japan culture and touches. There was only one other guest staying but for some reason it showed as completely booked out. Unfortunately, the showers and onsen has select opening times so you couldn't shower either in the morning or evening, it was one of those times and can't remember but that was slightly inconvenient. "Horrible accommodation. Booked a non smoking room and received a smoking room. When we requested a room change, we were told that only smoking rooms were left. The alarm clock in the room rang at 4am in the morning. Don't stay here."

"Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus."

"First off the reception has a strong stench of cigarette smoke. On check out the hotel demanded extra money than what was listed on the book page. They listed ¥150 per person per night which was fine however they wanted another ¥350 per person for heating cost!?!? Which was never listed during booking. The purpose of having hotel booking platforms are to list everything down so there are no surprises!"

"Very nice and cozy place to stay at. The owners are very nice and kind. It was a pleasure to spend the time there. I really enjoyed having a drink with the owner. The place is at the top of a mountain with a beautiful scenery. The place is mostly for ski resort, but I used it to go around the area and visit some local attractions."

There was someone waiting there to greet us, then showed us their onsen which was a heavenly experience after a long day. "The hotel room was clean. I asked for the eco service but still didn’t receive towels. At check-in I felt very rushed. As I was entering my information, I was asked for my passport, then in reaching for my passport they wanted me typing my information. Three front desk staff talking and explaining while checking in. Difficult getting a taxi. Anytime I went to the desk I was treated like I was bothering them. After traveling throughout Japan, this is not the hospitality of other top Japanese...
