"I am an American who stayed at this property while visiting family stationed in Okinawa. The hotel is easily accessed, quiet, and the room was clean and as described. The front desk of this hotel is only staffed from 3 PM to Midnight. Staff do not speak much English, so have a translate app available to assist you if you do not speak Japanese. There are 7-11 and Lawson convenience stores a short walk from the hotel. I plan to stay here again when I return to visit family next year. "

"The host is great, awesome hospitality. Clean unit with daily towel replacement and trash pick up. Beddings replaced every three days. The only down side is the location, you'll need a vehicle to get around. Otherwise, I will stay at Douce any time I'm in Okinawa."

The office open hours for check-in on their website was incorrect so that I had to come back later again for check-in (after calling them. Not sure if the desk clerk speaks English). No iron and no iron board. Laundry (washer and dryer) is free of charge which is nice. "
