"We booked the entire villa over a year in advance to have a friends and family vacation. Our goal was to enjoy the region of Tuscany and this spot was perfect! There were 16 people at the property and it was fabulous. There are 6 apartments. Main house has two bedrooms and three baths. There is a three bedroom two bath apartment, two 1 bedroom one bath apartments, one garden apartment 1 bedroom one bath and a 2 bedroom one bath apartment. So family and friends could enjoy their own space or could also enjoyed shared time in main house, by pool, or in al fresco dining areas. Three washers are on property. The place has everything you need to truly relax and vacation. The host family are so kind, Nicholi and Marco were available to answer questions and address concerns promptly. The views are spectacular. There is a tiny village complete with a cafe, pizzeria and restaurant. Gelato store too! It is maybe 10 minute walk. We loved the wine store that was a 4 minute walk and the castle with restaurant that was also a 4 minute walk away. There is winery named Azienda Agricola Ammirabile - a four minute drive a visit is a must see if you love wine the way we do!! We do recommend a car so you can drive to Montespertoli and surrounding countryside towns. Finally a MUST do is either dinner, cooking lesson, pizza party with Loredana. Her personality makes any event feel like a warm hug and her food leaves your belly full and heart warm. "

"Our family of eight truly enjoyed our stay in this unique 400 year old casa, with modern amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. It is a very cool juxtaposition with old stone hearth ,stone sink beamed arched ceilings, ancient stone walls. the awesome rooftop deck was an wonderful setting for a tuscan meal with beautiful views of the countryside. What a unique experience to live like the villagers, going to the supermarket, the small coffee,& restaurants and witness all of the townspeople from babies, school age kids & parents to old residents hanging out in the town piazza thru the day and evenings. A varied experience after spending 3 days in the hear of Rome. Highly recommend doing a bike tour with Massimo & team (a 10 minute walk from the casa) "Toscana by bike" for the day, as well. visitors should be aware the 5 bedrooms are small with no real closets, but they provide good privacy & quiet. And most of the showers are on the small side but there are 4 of them. The washer was a plus, and drying in the open air on the terrace, just like the villagers. Highly recommend for travelers who don't mind the rusticity, but are interested in experiencing the charm of a small village. We were a blended family of (2) parents with 3 sons and a daughter and 2 girlfriends, ages 20-30. Everyone enjoyed our stay!"

"Great place to stay in the Tuscan hills. This working farm produces fantastic olive oil and wine, both available for purchase and served in their own restaurant. The rooms are spacious and provide stunning views of the countryside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The location is off the heavily beaten tourist path, a very nice and quiet environment. Location is also only a short drive to Florence for easy day trips (use the park and tram ride to city center at Villa Constanza). Great access to other beautiful hilltop towns as well, including Certalgo, etc. Our room (apartment) had a private bedroom, living room, fireplace, patio, and a full kitchen. We will definitely stay here again in the future!"

"This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. "
