"We could not have asked for a more amazing stay or a more wonderful host! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay special and played such a meaningful part in making our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined. Even during the chaos of our wedding day, he took control and relieved so much of our stress by coordinating with vendors and making sure everything was perfect. Nicola and his family were truly the most amazing hosts we could have ever asked for.The entire villa was beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place for such an important and unforgettable time in our lives. Every thoughtful touch and kind gesture meant more to us than we can put into words.We will always look back on our stay with so much gratitude and wonderful memories. Thank you for helping make our wedding celebration truly magical! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a special, memorable experience. "

"A fabulous villa for a large group. Easily accommodating 14 for our family. Definitely need a vehicle as getting around to shops, trains or access to Florence is not easy.The pool and grounds are fantastic. Surrounded by olive groves. Host and his family could not have been nicer or more responsive.The air conditioning in each room was a blessing in 35’ heat.Highly recommend!!"

"Villa Belsole exceeds the listing. We were a big party of 18 made up of five families who have holidayed together several times previously and this property met our expectations 100%. We did make use of the option to have additional beds which provided further flexibility for the sleeping arrangements and meant parents could have separate rooms from the children in all cases. Communication with Enzo and Christina was perfect and although there was a small misunderstanding during check-in regarding the additional cost of electricity and water for the week this was quickly resolved. We took advantage of using the local cook on-site for one evening which was an excellent choice and we were able to adjust the menu to suit our party's tastes and dietary needs - the food was wonderful and plentiful. Indoor and outdoor dining tables, which could seat us all, were made good use of and the pool gave a welcome break from the high temperatures in August and has a view which never failed to look anything but spectacular. Aircon operates throughout the property in all the rooms and makes for a very comfortable nights sleep. The villa is perfectly positioned for day trips to Florence, Siena and Pisa with the local town of Certaldo having well stocked Supermarkets. A perfect holiday which both the parents and children thoroughly enjoyed - highly recommended. Thank you."

"Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern (10&14) dort. So ein schönes Apartment! Tolle Lage, liebe Gastgeberin, Naturpool, den man meist für sich hat. Wir hatten so eine tolle Zeit. Konnten ganz ohne Trubel und Ablenkung bei uns selbst ankommen. Wenn uns der Sinn nach Action Stand, waren wir in gut einer Dreiviertelstunde mit Auto und Straßenbahn in Florenz. Aber auch vor Ort kommt keine Langeweile auf: der Naturpool lädt zum schwimmen und planschen ein und die Gastgeberin bietet Töpferkurse an, das haben wir gern genutzt und hatten einen tollen, kreativen Nachmittag. Es war eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Bei Fragen war immer jemand ansprechbar und hilfreich. Hund und Katzen waren freundliche Nachbarn auf dem weitläufigen Gelände mit tollem Blick über die toskanischen Hügel ringsherum. Trotz großer Hitze hielten die alten Mauern auch ohne Klimaanlage die Räume kühl. Ob Espresso- oder Spülmaschine - die Wohnung hatte alles, was uns den Urlaub mit Selbstversorgung angenehm macht. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und eine ausklappbare Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Alle hatten genug Platz und Rückzugsraum. Das Wohnzimmer als Schlafraum zu nutzen war auch okay, da sich dass gesellige Leben im Sommer draußen vor der Ferienwohnung in der gemütlichen Sitzecke abspielte. Einzig auf die vielen Mücken würden wir uns besser vorbereiten. Vielleicht wären auch Moskitonetze über den Betten noch eine gute Idee. Und der Weg hinauf auf dem Berg sollte für PKW etwas optimiert werden, damit man nicht so leicht aufsetzt an der einen oder anderen Stelle. Aber alles in allem: Unbedingte Empfehlung für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Einfachheit suchen. Wir würden da immer wieder hinfahren."

"Our group of 2 adults and 8 kids had an EXTRAORDINARY time at Villa San Carlo - it was absolutely perfect for us! We are so grateful to Letizia and Gener for making our stay so comfortable. The house was clean, well-appointed, and had all the amenities we needed. The kids loved the game room and played ping pong and billiards a lot. We used the pool a lot due to the hot days, and it was clean and perfectly refreshing. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen had all the utensils, plates, serving platters, and glasses of all sizes that we could ever need. Dishwasher and two refrigerators were well used by our group :) As was the laundry, which worked perfectly.The bedrooms all had a/c, which we did use :) The walls are THICK so downstairs was cool even with 100-degree weather (you have to close the blinds and keep it dark during the day to retain the cool air inside) Every window had screens, so we had no issues at all with mosquitoes, as we were very conscious of keeping the doors closed.The grounds are spacious and beautiful and enclosed by gates, so that made me feel much safer to give the kids free rein to explore and navigate the property.The whole property flows well together -- from inside to outside the house, it all just feels comfortable and well-thought-out. It is a tuscan country house to be sure -- with knicks and dings, and don't expect plush mattresses and a/c in the bathrooms -- but we loved it just as it was!"
