"Perfect hotel for a nights visit to Ile de Re, the hotel was spotless and the room was great travelling as a family of 3, a sofa bed and a double bed on the mezzanine level. The pool was great fun after travelling to the hotel. The staff were excellent as well. Lots of free parking close by."

"We had a lovely holiday in this property. The pool and garden were really quite idyllic and we enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious and had just about everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and the fridge and freezer were a good size. The location was very convenient, being a short walk or even shorter cycle from the pretty village of La Flotte.Not a major issue, but there was only space to hang clothes in the master bedroom, as the hanging space in the wardrobes in the other two bedrooms was taken up by the owner's belongings. It would be helpful to let people know in the guest information folder that you need to use a gas lighter to light some of the rings on the stove, and where to find this. We have a similar oven at home but don't need to use a lighter with it. The gas had also run out on the first day so the owner had to come and change the bottle. It would be good for this to be checked between guests.Clearer arrival arrangements would help, at least for guests from outside France. (In the UK you can normally just turn up and walk in, or there may be a keysafe). We had advised the host that we expected to arrive at around 4pm, and sent a message through Vrbo about an hour before arrival. We had been told we could get in touch with Fanny, but no contact details for her were provided. We had to wait a while to be let into the property by Fanny's colleague."

"This is a truly unique property with excellent amenities. The pool and AC were essential for the heat. The staff, mostly Adeline, were incredibly accommodating and helpful."

"Staff were great and very helpful. Hotel was clean, food and breakfast was great. Room was also clean and quiet. Parking was good and felt safe for our motorcycles, but no covered parking. All in all, an enjoyable stay."
