The staff made us feel right at home. Dinner was delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Rooms are small-ish but have everything you need to wake up refreshed and ready for your next adventure. Located right on the Rennsteig hiking trail.

Schöne Lage, gemütlicher und hübscher Gastraum, wir konnten uns am Kaminfeuer wärmen und in der Sauna von der Wanderung erholen. Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Zimmer sind klein aber ausreichend, Betten sehr bequem.

Sehr ruhige Lage mitten im Wald. Unser Doppelzimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück war klasse, es gab viel Auswahl. Auch die Speisen im Restaurant waren sehr lecker und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wirklich super!

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sind einfach und völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Das Restaurant ist ein Geheimtipp. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Friendly welcome

Friendly welcome, even though we were late, very happy with our apartment, clean and comfortable, breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, fresh juice, lovely pieces of various cheeses plus warm bread, yummy and much more! Walking trails nearby, bunker tours - Our tour guide was very good, well done Chris!

Tolle Lage aber mit luft nach oben

Das Hotel hat eine geniale Lage. Umgeben von Wald absolut ruhig und idyllisch gelegen Das Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker und die Menschen die dort arbeiten waren extrem freundlich. Das Zimmer war winzig klein. Das Bad hat eine Größe, in dem man nicht umfallen kann. Und war zudem auch nicht wirklich sauber. Es lagen noch sehr viele verschiedene Haare vom Vorgänger auf dem Boden. Die Betten war top. Habe sehr gut darauf geschlafen. Werde ich wiederkommen? Vielleicht.

Nostalgisches Armee-Gebäude als Hotel

Der Armee-Gebäude-Komplex der im Areal befindlichen Bunkeranlage wurde als Hotel umfunktioniert. Entspechend nostalgisch ist die Ausstattung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers eher rustikal, was aber zur Beschreibung passt. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch eher einfach gehalten. Wir waren nur eine Nacht, dafür war es OK.

Sehr sympathisches 3-Sterne Hotel im Thüringer Wald! Kuschelig, gutes Essen (aus Frühstück) mit sehr netten Personal. Es hat Spass gemacht wieder einmal nicht erreichbar (schlechtes mobiles Netz) zu sein!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für das Wochenende (2Ü/Fr.Stck) gebucht. Das Zimmer war klein aber völlig ausreichend. Sauber und gepflegt. Der Schankraum ist gemütlich und vor allem war es trotz einiger Gruppen nicht laut. Hunde sind dort willkommen. Nettes Personal wir fahren garantiert noch mal hin, dann aber zum wandern !!!

Schönes Hotel mitten im Thüringer Wald

Aufenthalt 2 Pers. mit Hund im Bungalow, hervorragende Lage für Wanderer, Skilangläufer u. Hundebsitzer, sehr freundliches u. kompetentes Personal, super Küche . Die Bungalows sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen u. könnten eine Verjüngungskur gebrauchen aber das wird durch die gute familiäre Atmossphäre wieder ausgeglichen.

Schöne Hotelanlage mitten im Thüringer Wald

Schöne Hotelanlage mitten im Thüringer Wald, sehr freundlicher Empfang, nach einem Tag fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Sehr gute und reichliche Küche und super Servicekräfte die nicht nur freundlich tun, sondern den Gast wirklich als Gast verstehen. Wir waren in einem Bungalow untergebracht, der zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist , aber dafür mit Platz und Sauberkeit punktet. Auch das die anderen Beschäftigten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit , so dass man alles in Allem dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen kann. Gerne wieder !!!
