"Comfortable stay nestled in a beautiful area with two gorgeous lakes in walking distance. Room was comfortable. Dinner was a bit pricy but good quality and the staff were all very kind. No vale was present to help me with my bags, which were pretty heavy walking up flights of stairs but I guess if I had asked them for help they would have asked someone to come."

"Loved walking around and shopping in charming, old Swiss Appenzell as well as the variety of restaurants. Our room was comfortable and the owner and employees’ attention to details made it special, like a terrarium in the bathroom, good breakfast included, limited parking in their lot, and a large selection of tv channels. From the hotel staff, to the room, the amenities (pool and sauna, lovely balconies, delicious breakfast, bus passes, and more) and beyond this was an amazing stay. You will not be disappointed in any aspect of your stay. I didn't want to leave and while i was initially worried that it was a short walk into town it was ideal to be away from the main street while still having it close enough for easy access when needed.
