    Welcome to Whispering Wood, one of our most popular Mountain Shadows condos! This cozy Tahoe retreat is decorated with large, comfortable pine furniture, perfect for the entire family. Imagine sitting in front of the fire after a great day of skiing, sipping on hot chocolate. The condo features a full kitchen, a flat-screen TV, a VCR in the living room, and WIFI. Enjoy the private deck and access to 2 swimming pools open in the summer. Located near Diamond Peak Ski Resort, casinos, and unlimited areas for snowshoeing, hiking, and biking. Book quickly, as this one stays reserved!

    Please Note: Unfortunately, the private beaches in Incline Village, are only open to homeowners and full-time residents until further notice. Nearby public beaches include Sand Harbor State Park and Kings Beach.

Incline Village Condo

The condo was very clean and well-equipped. It was in a good location and an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. There was a squirrel who visited each day at the back sliding door. We named her, "Sandy." We were very disappointed to learn that the two swimming pools on the property were closed for repairs. The swimming pools on the property were a selling point for us when we booked. If we had known that they were not open we probably would not have booked this condo. Also, the property was very quiet when we first arrived. However, on the weekend the condos became noisy with dogs barking (through the night). There was even a shouting match one evening which was concerning. The condo management was very helpful and kept in touch during our stay. We would stay again IF the pools were open as promised.

Check in was seamless and the kitchen was well equipped with supplies to make breakfast. The only negative was there were stains and hairs on some of the towels and pillowcases. Overall the location was convenient in Incline, and I appreciate the stay!

We had such a great stay here for our ski getaway. The property itself was exactly what we were hoping for- very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It felt cozy after long days on the mountain, and the location was ideal with easy access to everything we needed.The only reason we’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some challenges with arrival. The instructions for locating the unit weren’t very clear, and the pathway/entry wasn’t shoveled when we arrived. After spending close to an hour trying to find the correct unit, we ended up having to shovel a path ourselves just to access the door. On top of that, the keypad initially didn’t work, which made us think we were at the wrong place.Once we got inside, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay. With a bit more attention to arrival instructions and snow maintenance, this would easily be a 5-star experience. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

Great stay!

We had a really wonderful time staying here. The check-in process was easy and the manager was just a text away to answer all of our questions. We loved the wood burning fireplace - so cozy! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook most of our meals. Located down the street from grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops so it was in a really convenient spot. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We felt like home the minute we got in! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable and very quiet sleeping, super large screen tv and comfortable living room with rocking chairs and nice pillows . Beautiful plates, glasses, and shades. We had a great stay! And it was close to grocery store and our favorite ski resort, and easy parking.

Place was super clean and very spacious! Great location , ample parking ! Equipped with all your needs . Only a few blocks from the Hyatt and beach . The only problem is that the beds were not comfortable so could not get a good nights rest. Aside from that would stay here again.

We always stay in mountain shadow! Best location to everything! Been going for 15 years! The units are all very similar, spacious and comfortable! It would be great if there was a removable gate for the stairs as we had a toddler but our friends in the area provided that for us! Otherwise perfect!

We enjoyed our stay, the condo was perfect for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. I liked that it was very close to skiing, upscale dining, and the beach. The home itself is showing some wear, kitchen drawers falling when you open them, toilets take a few minutes to flush, things like that, but otherwise all good. We used the kitchen for preparing a meal and we had what we needed. I really liked the welcome to the property at the management office, very friendly, helpful, and a complimentary bottle of wine and coffee for the morning.
