Great family vacation

Had a great experience. The condo was nice, clean, had everything we could need and was very family friendly. Great location, close to the lake and guest passes were provided giving us access to Inclines private beaches. Had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again!!

Great place for relaxing after a day on the mountain!

The unit was exactly as described and very convenient for both skiing at Diamond Peak but also walking up the hill onto the main drag and hitting up spots for drinks and dinner. Would definitely return!

Wonderful vacation home

Great vacation rental, very clean, seamless check in and great location. Lovely neighborhood for my morning walks, close to Mt Rose summit and beaches. Home comes with everything you need fully stocked kitchen and extra blankets if needed. Just amazing.

Great condo! Clean, location ideal for walking to Beach/Hyatt. Owner was very helpful & responsive .

Our family of 4 stayed at this Forest Pines Condo for 5 nights in July 2016. The condo was perfect for walking to the Beach and the Hyatt. The community Clubhouse was great! The pool area is very nice and our kids loved the Ping Pong Table. Paul, the owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with when we decided to extend our stay. We will be back next summer!

Met Our Needs

The condo met our needs for our trip. Experience upon arriving was easy. The condo was clean and supplied with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were a bit dim lighting wise, but other than that we were very pleased with our choice.

Comfortable, cozy condo for our ski trip

We had a great stay at this comfortable, cozy condo. There was plenty of room for our family of four to spread out and the condo was nice and clean. It took us just a few minutes to get up to Diamond Peak where we skied. It snowed a lot during our stay and someone from the association cleared off the porch and walkway out to our car. The kids were able to play right out front and make a snow man. Paul was very responsive and quickly got back to us when we had a couple of questions. We’d definitely stay at this condo again.

Great location, quiet, comfortable, plenty of space

Our family of 4 had a nice stay at this condo. We had plenty of room. The downstairs bed was very comfortable. The best thing about this place is the location -- it is a very quiet complex but conveniently located just a couple blocks from the lake and a couple blocks from restaurants. Having a 2-story condo was so much nicer than a hotel room. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the interior is somewhat dated and plain. But overall it is a comfortable and spacious condo. The upstairs TV/cable was not working.

Place was fine but not over & above.

Would have enjoyed sitting outside a bit, but no place other than the common area. Some work needs to be done on window & door screens, lower bathtub leaks, rug could use a cleaning. Pretty dark throughout, better lighting would perk it up. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Nice big dining table, with plenty of seating. We would expect a complete refund for the security deposit, as we left no trace of having been there except dirty sheets, & towels :) Thanks for sharing your vacation rental! Linda Struve

4 Nights Stay

This location worked very well for us. It's quiet and a very nice condo complex. You can walk to a few restaurants. Grocery store nearby. You are close to where you can rent bikes. The home was great for us. Looked like pictures on VRBO. Screen to sliding glass door in front room was ripped along most of the frame. Mosquitos come in. Kitchen great, beds comfy, nice community pool and indoor jacuzzi. Owner responsive. We were disappointed we didn't get passes to the very close private beach. Call the owner way ahead of time (not message through VRBO) if you want passes. Sand Harbor about 4 miles away. Beautiful but have to go early due to crowds. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Disappointed

While the condo itself was just as advertised, we were denied access to the pool, sauna and hot tub. We were told the homeowners board no longer allows short term renters, like VRBO renters, to use these facilities. Also, the lake is nearby and beautiful, but if you want to use the local beach you'll have to pay $15 per day for each adult and $5 per child and you'll need to place funds in escrow ahead of time with the owner to get the passes. Very disappointing as we didn't find that part out until after we paid for the booking.

Good Value for the Area

Very nice area. Within walking distance to beach and casino. Multi million dollar homes in this area. This particular unit is very functional. Dated, but functional. Could use a few more floor fans or the installation of ceiling fans, for use in the summer. It was pretty warm in the unit, during the day and early evening. Cools off nicely, in the middle of the night. Plenty of dishes and silverware to cook a small meal. Not equipped for a 'gourmet' cook, but who wants to bother with all that. Beds are comfortable as is the living room furniture. Not posh, but definitely works for a party of 6. Will definitely go up to this spot again with our family. Pool is nice. Bring beach towels and beach chairs. Would give a 5 star rating if a little bit of updating done to the bathrooms and more fans available to circulate air. But, you will not be disappointed. Is a fine 'home base' for summer and winter trips. Nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice couple to deal with, when setting up dates. Prompt in returning our deposit!

Wonderful home in Incline Village

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 weeks this summer. It was very convenient, roomy, as described in pictures. Clubhouse and Pool were an added bonus.

Tahoe Monopalooza stay

Great location, nice rustic cabin like feel. A bit dark, lacking lights but comfortable rooms. Cooking facilities were pretty good. The club house facility was top notch with hot tub, sauna and ping pong enjoyed every night. Some of the lights like master not working well. Would be nice if extra towels were provided for hot tub. Didn’t get info about check in until right before we arrived. That said it was fantastic for our group celebrating our mono ski convention in Tahoe

Disappointment

Very rundown. Screens broken, old bedding and towel, some electrical outlets not working. Terrible lighting in living room and master bedroom. We have stayed at Forest Pines for years. This owner doesn’t seem to want to fix or update his property. No ceiling fans. $1900 for 6 nights was not a deal.

Quiet Neighborhood/Easy walk to restaurants but Disappointing

My husband and I have stayed at around 20 vacation rentals over the years and this is the first where we were overall disappointed. First positives-Very quiet neighborhood, easy to get around, and 15 min walk to restaurants, Starbucks, and bike rental. Now our concerns- We booked back in Oct 2022. My failure to go back to that booking message caused an issue with checking in. I have never had a host not reach out in the week prior to a stay with a message. No our lock box code was in the message from Oct (really hoping he assigned our unique code in Oct and it's not the same that whole time). Second, the place wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. When I called he told me I could change all the sheets myself and clean (the only cleaning solution on site was Windex) and no vacuum to clean up all the hair. It was so gross. Note: He did finally give us a refund for one night, but it was absolutely disgusting. We tried to stay somewhere else, but there wasn't anything available nearby. Cleaning service did come the next day and they did do a good job. The place needs about $750 put into it for new bedding and towels. Bedspreads had noticeable stains, are very worn, the bedding is all mismatched, and towels were scratchy and threadbare. Communication was frustrating. Host did not respond to any message in the app during the stay, so make sure you call/text his personal number if you have a question.

Great place to stay

My family and I enjoyed staying here. Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s not exactly modern inside, but no one minded. It felt like staying at your grandma’s cabin-in a good way! Very close to hiking trails and the facility has a pool, spa, and sauna. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it.
