"This was such a beautiful, old Florida feel camp. We met a lot of cousins there for a celebration of life. We stayed in the hotel rooms and it was a great place for us all to hang out with everyone. We rented 2 pontoon boats and went out on Lake Kissimmee. There was live music on Saturday night which was nice to go down to the water and hang out and listen to the band. There is a good truck with great food morning, non, and night. Also a restaurant back by our hotel area. I loved the Sandhill Cranes. I will be back and tell others if this hidden gem."

"You are Kristy's guest in every sense of the word. She bends over backwards to makes sure that you have an easy visit and stay. She has thought of even little things, like labeling the many light switches and labeling what's in the drawers in the kitchen. The place was spotlessly clean, the neighborhood upscale and safe. The pool was quite warm, unlike some other VRBO's we have stayed in. There is a delightful paved path around the lake for walking/running. Great stay!"

"Outstanding property on Crooked Lake, much larger than what the pictures display even with the master not included. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen we've seen in all of our stays at a VRBO across the country and the stocked coffee bar is a really nice taste and variety (to include decaf is most appreciated). The beach is super nice and great for hanging out, going for a swim beaching the boats, etc.. The grill is actually a griddle but was a nice surprise to make new creations as we don't have one at home. The small neighborhood is really friendly with people walking and riding bikes, and actually still wave at you and smile. Plenty of games to choose from and the Scrabble table is really nice and not a 20 set. If you are going to be beaching the boat overnight and need to charge, ensure you have 200' of cord as the closest outlet is on the porch. We only had two trucks with boat trailers and parking was fine, anything more than that you'll need to find an alternative parking area as parking on the grass is not an option and the driveway is shared with a neighbor. The hot water heater took a day to master, but there are instructions in the property binder on the island in the kitchen (just leave the sink hot water running at the same time, worked for us). All in all, this is a 5 out of 5-star property and one my wife has already instructed to make another reservation, but for a day or two longer! "

"Very nice stay,clean room and spacious bathroom. I was happy because it was the 1st time that I didn't feel like i had to clean anything. I usually bring my cleaning supplies,mask, and gloves to every hotel we stay in, because the rooms,especially the bathrooms,aren't as clean as they could or should be. It was very nice to come i to your hotel and not have to clean..🙂 So We stayed in Lake Wales because my fiancée had to have surgery the next morning at Advent Health hospital. It took the stress out of driving from Sebring,where we live,an hour away.The lady that checked us in at the front desk, on Tuesday 8/12/25, around 5pm...she had blondish hair, she was super professional and she also had a great sense of humor. I told her the only reason that i had picked your hotel instead of the Holiday iNN Express across the street, was because your price dropped, (only a couple dollars) but it made me think. Ok ok someone is hustling trying to get the rooms sold out. I'm in. It was only a Couple of bucks... who cares.However,in a world full of hotels one of them, a Hampton Inn to boot, dropped their price?Wow, after an already discounted rate. Whoever dropped the rate $2 is genius, and will bring people in. There was also a gentleman working the night shift or overnight shift on 8/12/25 about 12-1 am.He was very helpful as well. I was shocked to see an actual person at the front desk late at night.It made me feel safe. Most hotels don't have anyone at the desk anymore.Thanks!"
