"Overall, it was meh. The hallway carpets were never vacuumed, and the public trash cans by the elevators- both on our floor and the main floor were overflowing from when we got there until we left the next day. I alerted the front desk but they just thanked me and went back to looking at their phone. The bed was way too soft for our liking, and one of the pillows was lumpy. Also, Hotels.com lists the pet fee as $50, but it’s actually $75. And when we checked in the receptionist chided us for booking through hotels.com and almost didn’t give us a room."

"The breakfast did not offer fresh fruit which should be provided. The pool was very cloudy. We had to switch rooms after 3 nights because our heater stuck on and would not shut off. There were many different sounds that kept us up through the night. When we were leaving, there was a company cleaning a room that had a fire in it!! The staff was very accommodating though. "

"This is a hidden treasure- low price with good amenities including free breakfast and refrigerator and microwave in room. We've stayed there several times and will continue to do so when we're in the area. Staff is so friendly and helpful, too :) Beds are great, but their pillows are very firm so bring your own if that's a problem for you."

"You should list yourself as a motel! Stop tricking people with pool photos when you do not have one! Get better window locks for your first floor guests! Was just a thumb twist clamp they expect you to use. Stay away unless you’re a trucker!"

"We enjoyed our visit to Champaign Lodge very much. The staff was friendly upon our arrival and when we wanted to add a day they were very kind and accommodating. Our hot tub was huge and worked great! The bed was comfortable. We didn't try the steam shower. The refrigerator and microwave are very handy. It is slightly outdated but not enough for it to make a difference in our enjoyment of the room. It's nice to be able to adjust the lighting. We will definitely be back!"
