Disliked: Staff & service
No hot water for shower in room 14, bath towels was cloth bare with fringe worn edge s. Quite and cool but window air conditioner made noise all night. But if one or two nights stay great price quick checkout.
This hotel is bad, and nasty. The first thing you notice as you arrive in this hotel is the rundown building next to it. The area around the building is grimmy, there were cigaretes everywhere, and there was a chair outside the hotel door. The second thing is the bed. The bed was unsanitary, underneath the foul-smelled comforter was the bed sheet; there was black spots, and it had a brown stain on it like it wasn't wash after use. The third is the broken furniture. The dresser was broken on the front and paint was chipping. The table and chair was dirty and the paint was also chipping. The fourth thing is the bathroom. The bathroom had different color towels. The towels were damp and dirty. The shower area wasn't well lit, so i didn't go inside. The tiles on the bathroom were nasty, old and breaking down.
The place was broken down, unsanitary, and the environment was unsafe. This hotel is a mistake like this is the hotel that you would see on hotel nightmare or ghost adventures. THIS LISTING SHOULD NOT BE ON HOTELS.COM.

The rooms are clean but bare. Dont like that the rooms climate controlled.
What was good:
-- location, many stores & restaurants
-- price
What was bad:
-- no hot water unless you let sink & shower run for minimum of 6 minutes
-- no trash can or cleaning service
-- very poor upkeep: rusted heating element in bathroom, hole punched in bathroom door & no door knob, started painting different color but did not finish, broken blinds, bar to hold clothes had a screw pulled out of the wall
I've stayed at this location many times over the last couple of years. I like it because its cheap, and though it's cheap, the conditions of the room and service are adequate for the price. I also like its rustic, retro feel, as it probably hasn't been updated since it was built Millennia ago. This stay was not so good: There were beer bottles under the bed and in various drawers, and a swarm of ants was collecting whatever mystery substance was left on the floor from the previous occupant. I was only staying one night and assumed it was pointless to call someone. I will stay again, but the service in this establishment needs improvement.
I was not pleased with the hotel. When I arrived, there was no one in the office, and I had to call to be told how to find my room key. The door of the room looked like it had been jimmied open more than once. Despite it being designated a NON-SMOKING room, I was hit with a very strong smell of stale cigarette smoke on opening the door. When I called the number again to request a change of rooms, I was told there were no vacancies, despite the vacancy sign in the window. On checking the smoke detector, I found it covered in plastic so it could not have worked had there been a fire. I removed the plastic and threw it away. There were also two cigarette burn holes in the bedspread. The toilet paper holder had been broken off so the toilet paper was just sitting on the back of the stool, and both the seat and the stool itself wobbled when one sat down. I realize it was not an expensive room, but I don't feel it was even worth what I paid for it and feel I deserve a refund.
Thank you,
Diane E. Dunn
That place was a complete dump. We got in the room and it smelled so bad. Like mildew and must!!! Move the blankets in the sheets around and there was dried up blood on the sheets so I took the sheets off the bed thanking that they've been washed before and it was just staying a little bit of time gone by and I got to get in the shower and there is a used condom on the floor of the shower and blood on the towels. I walk down to the office and ask for a room change because clearly the room was not clean the bed was just made and she tried to accuse me of doing that in the room trying to get a free room she would not switch me rooms unless I paid for it so I didn't even wind up staying there. I was out $55 from a trash dump.
The hotel had a fridge and microwave and nice tv, other than that it was very outdated and not very clean. It was okay for the price, and had a decent location.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Cheap price but very comfortable for one night. Will likely stay again soon!

Vintage motel with tons of charm and character
Vintage motel with tons of charm and character Needs a bit of TLC but not in a way that will destroy its authentic retro appeal. Water pressure in shower a bit low
Disaster hotel management, mention open sign but nobody in the front office,,phone number is unreachable..they charge me even we don't stay there because their mistake because we came late and we we're contact hotel number but number unreachable..when we report hotel.com and they said they can not solve the problem..
I REALY NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE AND THIS HOTEL..
LACK MANAGEMWNT SPECIALY HOTEL THE WORSE ONE.They chargee me even we don't stay in that hotel
The only thing positive about this stay was the flat screen TV worked fine, and the refrigerator did as well. I called during the day (it took several times to get an answer) to make sure I would have a room that night when I checked in - and it's a good thing I did, or they would have given it away. The room I got (which was supposedly one of their best rooms) was dark, there were pillows only on one of the beds, the bedspreads were full of cigarette burns in this smelly "non-smoking" room. The bathroom was just SCARY -- broken toilet seat, shower (no tub) that could be best described as dungeon-like - no light and nasty looking with unknown things in the bottom of it - definitely would not go barefoot into that dark hole. Bed may have been alright - I was afraid to get into the sheets though. Broken phone. No carpeting at all. No way to control the heat. Then to top it all off, at 7pm the wi-fi stopped working altogether - called the management - got the "I'll tell the owner" response - and nothing was done about it - it could still be out for all I know. They turn their phones off - I assume so they don't have to hear the complaints. There wasn't even anybody in the office at 9:30am to check out - I gave up ringing the bell. Only reason I chose this hotel was that it was $100 cheaper that anything else in the area, due to hundreds of conference-goers that booked up everything in the area. Next time, I'll pay the extra $$$
