My group of old high school friends picked this spot for a reunion weekend.
The location was a good midpoint for us and the layout was ideal.
However, upon arrival, we discovered it is not in the best neighborhood (the neighbor had four cars parked on their lawn and a decaying roof).
Additionally, the beds were AWFUL. While they were plentiful, they were very uncomfortable. Many of us woke up with back pain. The mattress is literally "Valu-pedic". It was a broad theme in the home - cheaply outfitted to be a rental. Furnishings and kitchenware (limited and cheap) were sacrificed to flip the home and maximize profits. Luckily, we brought several kitchen items of our own.
Beyond this, while the communication with the owner was prompt, it was less than forthcoming. We inquired about a late checkout weeks earlier and were advised to wait until they determined if another group rented just after us. However, in the week prior to arrival, it was disclosed that the cost for this would be $35/hour. On principle, we decided against it.
Oddly, we were instructed to strip the beds and do the laundry before leaving.
However, when we arrived, the bed sheets hadn't been put on the mattresses and there was laundry in the washer and dryer.
Needless to say, a few kinks need to be ironed out with this rental.
So, while the layout is nice and the location within Indianapolis is convenient - be sure to consider whether you value comfort and decide accordingly.
