"I had work colleague stay here and recommend. Place is spacious and well appointed. Kids enjoyed pool and proximity to beach. We stayed in early May, so relatively quiet was great and didn’t have to book in advance for local activities like tennis and there were plenty of free chairs down at the beach. We felt little isolated without the use of the golf carts. They are available for an extra fee. Beach is close enough to walk in 10 mins with kids. Lack of uber means you have to plan your trips to supermarket or get Manuel (house manager) to go on your behalf. He was very obliging, but don’t expect 1-2 hour turnaround. "

"Location is amazing. We hired a taxi in advance to transport us from the airport to the rental and gave them the location address provided by the owner. They could not find it. Unit is actually a privately owned Residence on the sports illustrated resort. Once we located the resort, We went to reception as instructed by the opener, but there was no one there who knew where the unit was. Finally one of the employees was able to help us and took us to the unit.Due to issues with the lock on the door we were over an hour trying to get in we were in the apartment the bedding was stale and smelled rancid very bad night for us. We had to contact the owner to range for clean towels and sheets. The unit was advertised as having a kitchenette which it did a two burner stove top one of the burners not working there were no bowls there were no cooking utensils of anything that was clean or serviceable they did have about 50 dinner plates but no sandwich plates or anything of that nature there was three pots and if you wanted to make a salad you made them in the pot so my husband and I just decided we were camping there was no other way around it it was not luxurious very disappointed in this unit I would rated a two. VRBO should make sure that every rental has somebody local that can help visitors at the location. It was extremely frustrating for us. Employees of the resort were extremely helpful and informed us that this owner was "

"One of the only things I didnt like was there was no direct access to a beach without relying on transport. I would have liked to take a walk to the beach and walk back to resort. Other than that, the staff was incredible. Very helpful and friendly. My room was incredibly with an impeccable view of the marina. Room was constantly cleaned and always smelled amazing. My bartenders were great, so also my servers at The Bullpen. Would definitely visit again. It was my first time in DR, and I know what to expect for next time."
