"Stayed two nights at Middle Studfold Farm and what a fantastic experience. Jan and Edd were extremely welcoming and helpful. Plenty of recommendations for food and hikes. Tasty breakfast each morning and great conversation. We opted for a packed lunch one of the days. Room was perfect and very comfortable beds. Well stocked coffee and teas in the room, with fresh milk available. Great Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. "

"Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"Perfect for 1 adult and a dog! Impressed with how much was provided in the cottage (small things that make a big difference, such as milk on arrival, sharp knives for cooking, and plenty of towels). It was so well located and with family staying at number 6, we had lots of adventures from the cottage – the train to Appleby, Scaleber Force, Malham Cove, the cheese shop. It was lovely to come home for cosy evening meal and a comfy nights sleep before the next day out! As someone staying alone the cottage felt safe and secure and the neighbours were all very welcoming and kind."

"A lovely holiday cottage in a perfect location. If you enjoy walking then there is little need to drive anywhere, with an abundance of walks directly from the door. The village has a local shop selling essentials and an excellent pub (although booking is recommended). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Scenic walking routes begin practically at the doorstep, with stunning countryside views just a short stroll away. After each day’s walk, it was a joy to return to such a cosy and comfortable retreat, especially the log burner.Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was just right without ever intruding on our privacy. Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
