"I really liked the location and setting. It's perfect for someone looking to be fully immersed in nature. It's quiet, calm, and natural in every way. Staff were friendly and helpful. The remote beach behind the resort grounds is not to be missed - gorgeous! Saw a bald eagle perched on driftwood fairly early in the morning. I thought my mattress was a bit too thin and the springs quite noticeable. I was able to sleep okay, but it kept coming to my attention that it might be time to replace. I thought the continental breakfast was a bit uninspired. It was okay, but there wasn't much about it had me enthused about having breakfast the next morning. What was being called pumpkin bread was really marble rye swirl with pumpernickel."
