If you want a good nights stay in a beautiful local area, then this is for you. The restaurant was incredible and the staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I can’t recommend this stay enough.

With free parking area just opposite to hotel. Nice staff and room is clean. 5mins walk to supermarket. Sharing shower room and toilet are also clean, too. Peaceful to stay.

Boy were we surprised when we showed up and had to check in in the middle of a restaurant. Then walk through the staff bar area up 2 flights of narrow stairs only to find there was not a bathroom in the room. It was not mentioned on Expedia that there were only shared bathroom and shower facilities for all the rooms! The room was very small and you could hear lots of noise like furniture being moved around. The breakfast did not start till 7:30 which is late for travelers needing to get on the road. The breakfast itself was ok, but not as much variety like eggs & bacon or croissants like the other places we stayed. However, we did not leave hungry. I would call this more of a Hostel than a hotel.

Alpina is a wonderfully warm and cozy property. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is terrific. Beds are comfortable and shower strong and hot! We would definitely stay here again.

It was not clear that the bath(shower) is on the floor and shared with all other guests (6rooms?). It is ok, if it would be known and clear in advance. The toilet is as well outside of the room but separate women/men.

Travel in Time

If you're curious about what a basic hotel was like a century ago, this is the place. It has all the charm: squeaky and shaky floors and doors, one toilet and one shower at the end of the corridor for all occupants, no soap dispenser in the shower, stained bed sheets. If not, look elsewhere.

Description had twin bed, in practice it was a single bed. Men's shared bathroom lock was broken. No soap in shared shower. You can hear every single thing the people in rooms next to you are doing. Breakfast was OK. Parking is convenient.

Klasse Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer sehr sauber und gemütlich; etwas hellhörig, falls es jemanden stört. Gemeinschaftsdusche sauber und alles funktioniert klasse. Nuestros alojamiento en el Alpina fue bueno, y diferente, ya que se trata de una casa de madera y nunca habiamos estado en una, el personal muy agradable tanto en la llegada y salida. Por poner una nota que realmente nos incómodo la cantidad de moscas en la zona comedor.

Personalen var trevlig och frukosten okej. Men de va hyfsat nedgånget, otroligt lyhört och golv o sängar knakade väldigt mycket. De är delade badrum och svårt att hitta någonstans att äta om man inte har bil. Värderar man sömn är de fel ställe, gillar man orenoverade orginalbyggnader så kan de kanske vara värt 1natt men inte mer.

Das Hotel liegt an der Durchgangsstrasse,die Zimmer gehen teils dorthin hinaus.Da es keine Klimaanlage gibt,ist es bei offenem Fenster relativ oft laut,wozu die im Hotel integrierte Bar beitraegt.Die Zimmer liegen im 2.ten OG via Treppe und sind recht dunkel.Bei uns ging die Deckenleuchte nicht .Es gibt ein Stockwerkklo und -Dusche,alles recht einfach und etwas altbacken.Wenn man nachts dorthin muss,knarren die Flurdielen ziemlich.Fruehstueck war einfach,aber ok ,die Bedienung super freundlich.

Personnel extrêmement compétent et sympathique

L'hôtel est très bien. Il est très bien placé sur un axe principal avec évidemment un peu de bruit. Ma femme est tombée malade pendant le séjour et nous avons du repartir plus rapidement et ils nous ont remboursé la nuit non utilisée. Encore merci pour ce geste commercial très apprécié.
