"Staying here was an delightful experience. You are in a grand house that was built in 1740 and has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Michael is the proprietor and is very friendly and easy to talk to. The gardens are lovely and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance of this charming small town. "Reading the previous excellent reviews, you sometimes wonder if they are absolutely true. Let me say, if anything, they weren't kind enough. Having arrived really late due to a delayed flight, I happened to ask what it's like getting a taxi to Carlingford, and waa offered very kindly a lift to the wedding we were attending the next morning. The rooms were spotless, the views locally were breathtaking, ths breakfast wonderful. I cannot recommend it more highly. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality"
