The hostess was wonderful as she was a joy to chat with & was immensely helpful at providing recommendations & directions for dinner & things to do. Great place to stay, an oasis away from ordinary lodging, a great cabin in a wooded area, close enough to everything, sitting on the front porch out in nature is a great way to enjoy Alaska, great host with great communication, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Lovely little cabin in the woods. So quiet and peaceful. Short drive from the town of Talkeetna on the Spur Road with a full private bath. Kahiltna Birch Works just a short drive away and a must stop for some late run birch syrup and fireweed ice cream. Yum!
