"We were heading home from a soccer tournament in Sarasota when we unexpectedly needed to stop for the night. You know how it is - almost home and now we needed to spend more money on a hotel. Best $149 I have spent in a super long time. We were graciously welcomed at check-in my a charming desk clerk who gave us our choice of rooms and helped get us settled in to do laundry and get some sleep. She was professional, interested, and engaging. The room was just the right size, clean and plenty big. But, to be clear, it was the excellent service at check in that turned an annoyance into a pleasure. This is my second stay at this hotel and we will absolutely be back. "

"Casual property with all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds in the morning with our coffee. Enjoyed a canoe paddle in Salt Springs and a short hike down the yearling trail (went at the wrong time of day so was too hot)."

"This was a peaceful and fun place to stay. The farm had interesting animals to watch from our balcony. The upstairs interior of the barn was nicely done. This is a good place to get away too. It’s not too far from Ocala National Forest and multiple springs. It’s a memorable spot."
