Charming Older Hotel in Residential Neighborhood

This is a charming, older hotel in a residential neighborhood that is just a short walk from Interlaken West. The staff is friendly, the breakfast room is charming, and the hotel has a large lounge for guests to relax in. The rooms were clean as well. We would have stayed longer if we could. Just remember to bring a Swiss charger, or to ask for one at the front desk.

Walk to train station.

Nice hotel close to the train station. This was very convenient for our family to walk downtown to restaurants and shops. The rooms for a family are a little small but clean. They have a nice coffee area and patio plus a elevator.

We so enjoyed this hotel. The owner was so helpful and gave us lots of good information. It was clean with a nice breakfast. We usually stay at Marriott and we weren’t sure what to expect. It’s very quaint and a two minute walk to the train station. Overall five stars.

Lovely place. Very good location. Pleasant neighborhood feel. Nice views from the room. Easy to get to and from transportation, Main Street and attractions. Room has all good basic needs. The bathroom is small and shower quite tight--could use floor grips for safe/secure feeling getting out of it. The road can be a bit busy so if room is on the street hear cars and voices. Very nice breakfast offered.

Positives: - good location (close to Interlaken West and restaurants) - friendly housekeeping - rooms have AC Downsides: - the bathroom could barely fit one adult standing, had poor lighting and no outlets - the photos online look way nicer than the quality of the rooms in real life - there is no refrigerator in the rooms - breakfast doesn’t open until 7:30am so make sure to plan accordingly

Great spot with an amazing staff! Breakfast was included and was amazing. It is about a 15-minute walk from train station. We stayed in one room with our adult children so it was a bit tight. But overall would recommend.
